Chapter one:
"One caramel frappe please! Oh oh oh and may I have the peanut butter cookie!" she asked the barista with huge brown eyes.
"Alright ma'am, and your name?" he asked winking slightly.
"It's Mae!" she responded with a big smile.
"Mae, what a pretty name heh.. can I have your number?" The barista said smirking knowing this girl was an easy catch.
Little did he know, there was dark red eyes glaring daggers at his direction.. he could literally feel the heat coming off from the man in the back.
"My number?" she said looking confused.. "A-am I in trouble did I do something w-wrong?" she said biting her lip with tears eyes.
"W-wait no uhm.. nevermind! Your drink is ready.." he said flinching while shoving the drink and cookie into her hands, "have a n-nice day!"
"Wait- but I didn't get to pay!" she responded quickly as she watched the barista leaving the store with incredible speed.
