My Little Garbage Bunny 2 (Springtrap x Reader)

He's Missing!/Protective Spring

You gasp seeing Sam standing in the doorway looking worried.

"Sam?" You ask a little surprised. "What are you doing here? How did you find me?" You slip your left arm behind your back.

"Oh, the documents you signed told me your address and I came to see if you were ok." Sam replied stepping in without you offering. "I'm sorry I didn't come sooner. I was busy." 

"Oh, no, it's fine." You reply closing the door quickly, grabbing a jacket, and putting it on before Sam noticed your metal arm.

"I'm so glad you made it out alive. Sadly, Katie didn't. She went to check up on you but, must have gotten caught up in the fire trying to rescue you."

"Yeah, sadly..."

"What happened, (y/n)? Do you know what started the fire?" Sam asked looking at you sympathetically.

"O-oh, it was the wiring." You lie trying to improvise a fake truth while not showing it was a lie. "It gave out and there wasn't anything I could do to stop it. All I could do was get out as fast as I could."

"Oh, I'm so sorry, (y/n)!" Sam said hugging you.

You went stiff as a board as soon as you came in contact with the embrace. Springtrap will not like this...

"(y/n), what's wrong?" Sam asked noticing your tenseness.

"Nothing." You reply with a semi-calm voice. "It's just been a little while since someone hugged me that's all. What have you been busy with?"

"I've been looking for the animatronic bunny that was in the attraction. We looked everywhere in the attraction but, it's gone. I don't know how but, it just vanished. We searched every nook and cranny and not a trace. We were going to ask a couple of people who knew about it but, I wanted to make sure you were ok first."

"I'm alright."

Sam smiled and walked back to the door. He placed his hand on the door knob before he turned back to you and said: "Hey, why don't we go out some time. Since you've been away from 'hugs' haha, Why don't I take you out to eat?"

Your (e/c) eyes grow wide. "Oh, that's ok. I'm fine. I've got friends so, I'm not always alone." You knew you weren't helping your case.

"Well, I won't take no for an answer! I'll come pick you up at 6 tonight! See you later!" 

Sam exits your house closing the door behind him leaving you speechless. You swear and walk into the living room and sit on the couch.

"Springtrap." You call shakily.

You suddenly hear the closet door open and quick footsteps. Springtrap immediately sits down next to you and gives you a hug for your voice told him something was wrong.

"I'm here." Springtrap asked soothingly. "What's wrong?"

"Sam came." You reply looking at him and seeing anger flash behind his concerned look.

"What?" He asked quietly with the anger rising in his tone.

"He came over wondering if I was ok and asking about you." You say calmly trying to calm your animatronic bunny down. "He, um, also asked me on a date." You said even quieter and shrinking in Springtrap's hold preparing for the anger outburst.

"HE WHAT!?"

You flinch feeling guilt press upon you. "I'm sorry." You say quietly laying your head in Springtrap's chest.

He sighed and nuzzled you. "You have nothing to be sorry about. It's that idiot Sam's fault! How DARE he!! You are and always will be mine! And I will not let you go!"

You remain quiet letting the words sink in. They were a little creepy but, in a sweet way. You didn't see a way out of this situation. If Springtrap saw Sam, he'd kill him before he could do anything and if you told Sam you were already with Springtrap, Sam would take Springtrap away or die. Either way it wouldn't end well for Sam. 

Suddenly, Springtrap sniffs you causing you to blush and feel awkward. "Did he hug you?" Springtrap askes looking at you for an answer.

All you do is nod not wanting to say anything.

"Come on, (y/n) speak. I need to hear your voice to know you're ok."

You bury your face in your bunny. "I don't want to go out with him! I want to stay with you!" You start crying for some strange reason as Springtrap strokes your (h/c) hair. "But, if I tell Sam you're here, he'll take you away and I don't want that!"

"I know, I know." Springtrap says soothingly. "I know it won't end well if I even show myself to Sam so, I'll allow you to go with him just this once."

"Thank you, Springtrap." You say quietly.

For the rest of the afternoon, Springtrap spends as much time with you as he can weather it's sitting with you on the couch or listening to music. It went to show you how much your Garbage Bunny cared about you and you quite enjoyed it. When it was 5:30 pm, you went upstairs to get ready leaving a worried/anxious Springtrap downstairs...
