Once you were finished getting ready you looked at yourself in the mirror.(^You were dressed in the clothes in the picture!^) You smile and walk downstairs and into the living room seeing Springtrap there with a nervous look in his eye. You sit down next to him and lean you head in his shoulder snapping him back to reality.
"Don't worry, I'll be fine!" You say fiddling with the little black button right below his neck.
"I hope so..." Springtrap replies worriedly. He slips his battered hand in yours for reassurance and your heart flutters. "I don't want you getting hurt."
"Why would I get hurt?" You ask looking at him.
"Because...that's what happened the last time you were away from me. Because I wasn't around to protect you. I don't want that happening again." Springtrap replies quietly. "And besides boys are the worst! They have the potential to harm the girls they date. So, that's why I always want you around me. So, I can protect you."
You blush at Springtrap's words and start to feel guilty that you'd be going out with Sam. You two sit there together for a few more minutes before Sam comes to pick you up. He, thankfully, was dressed nicely as well and looked at what you were wearing with a smile. (You put on a nice jacket to hide your metallic arm.
"You look great!" Sam said extending his hand out to you.
You took it with hesitation. "Thanks you too!" You reply politely.
Sam was wearing a nice blue shirt with brown pressed pants and dark brown shoes.
As you exited your house you kept looking back at it while Sam wasn't watching you. Springtrap was watching through the window with a worried expression on his face. You gave Springtrap a reassuring nod and got into Sam's black truck and drove away.
"You really seem to miss your house." Sam said keeping his eyes on the road.
"Well, I do in a way." You reply. "It feels like a safe haven to me."
"Sometimes you need to step out of your 'safe haven' to have a little fun every once in awhile."
"I guess...where are we going to eat?"
"Olive Garden. I think it will be nice for you to have some real food."
You smirk. "Sam, I have had real food before. You're acting like I haven't been outside in years."
"Right, sorry, it's just the was you put it earlier it sounded like it a little." Sam replied a little embarrassed.
"It's alright. Um, any luck at tracking down the animatronic?"
"No. Dang! It's like trying to find a moving needle in a haystack!"
You laugh a little and Sam smiles. "I hope we can do this again sometime." He says pulling up to the restaurant's parking lot.
"Oh, um, probably not because works been really busy and I've got to run errands so, yeah." You reply remembering Springtrap.
"It's ok. Whatever suits you is fine."
You and Sam walk inside and get a table. You two order your food leaving you to wait for it.
"So how were your shifts before the attraction burnt down?" Sam asks looking at you.
"Oh, um, really interesting." You reply feeling your left hand in your lap. "Have um, any of the phantoms ever talked to you?" You ask quietly.
Sam remained silent for a moment seeming almost to rack his brain for an answer. "I think one of them did." He replied slowly. "I think her name was Mangle. I think she was trying to flirt with me for she hung around the office without making that obnoxious radio noise."
"Well, that's a relief to hear." You sigh. "I was wondering if you'd think I was crazy or something."
"Heh, no. Not when you work that shift for a few days. Then you believe anything is possible. Added on with that bunny animatronic, it's chaos!"
"Tell me about it. Those phantoms seemed to be out for my flesh and blood. Especially Foxy. He was the one who talked to me the most."
"Really? Well, funny thing is, Katie liked that bunny animatronic. She used to go see him during the day and try to talk to him. But, that bunny wouldn't move in a million years for her as he does at night." Sam said scratching his head.
"Huh, funny how these animatronics get attached to people like us. Don't you think?" You ask Sam.
"Yeah, but, it's kind of cute how they still feel emotions after all they've been through."
"Can't really argue with that!"
Once your meal comes, you dig in, happy to finally eat. The two of you eat in silence thinking about different things. After you two are done Sam decides to take you home and pay for the meal (Yay! Free meal!). As you drive home you get more excited for you were getting closer to Springtrap but, tried to keep it under wraps as to not get Sam suspicious.
"Did you have fun?" Sam asks as you drive along.
"Yeah, I had a really nice time." You reply looking out at the dying sunlight.
"It's a shame we can't do this again because I loved spending time with you."
You blush at the compliment but, still remind yourself of the bunny animatronic at home waiting for you. As you drive up to your house, your heart beats faster and almost hurts you want to get inside. Sam walks you up to the porch and smiles.
"See you later, (y/n). Don't stay cooped up in there forever." Sam says playfully.
"Alright, Sam. See you later." You reply clicking your heels together.
You watch Sam drive away before entering your house. You step into the dark hallway and take off your jacket.
"Springtrap, I'm home!" You call into the house.
Suddenly, you were hugged by something bigger than you; Springtrap.
"(y/n)! You're back!" Springtrap said excitedly. "You have no idea how much I've missed you!"
You smile and tightly hug back. "I've missed you too!"
Springtrap looks at you happily with his white eyes aglow. "I'm so happy to hear that." he bends down to your level and his eyes stare into your (e/c) ones. "Did that idiot do anything to hurt you at all?"
You sigh. "No, Springtrap. He didn't hurt me." You reply.
"Did he give you the time of your life?"
"He could have done better."
"Do you love him?"
"I love you, My Little Garbage Bunny!" You cry happily.
"Good!" Springtrap says scooping you up and holding you bridal style. "Now you can go change and we can do whatever you want!"
"YAY!"
