Emanuela POV
"Daniel?" I asked incredulously.
"It's me baby doll." He threw the gun on the ground and lifted me to my feet. Wrapping his arms around my waist, he planted a warm kiss on my lips that sent a shiver down my spine. A couple of the guys in the group gagged, while others whistled. Daniel rolled his eyes and pulled away.
"It's about time you meet my gang." Daniel said. "Were the good guys."
"What about the guns?" I asked.
"Fakes."
I raised a brow. "Care to explain all this?"
Daniel grabbed me by the waist, and kissed me before I could say anything else. "Daniel, what's going on? What is all
of this?"
He shrugged. "I don't know what to say, baby."
"When did you do this? Why?" I asked worried.
"I don't really know, it's like a family thing. My dad led the gang before me, and now he wants me to." Daniel told me.
I grabbed his hand and pulled him away from the gang. "Can we talk later?" He asked me. "We have some stuff to deal with, with Nick."
"Wait, my brother settled things with him if it's because of me." I said, because I knew that Enrique liked him.
"Uhh.. it's not, he's kind of taking all of our sales." Daniel told me.
"You're selling drugs too?!" I yelled at him.
"How else am I supposed to make money?" He asked me grabbing my hand. I pulled away from him.
"And your parents condone this?!" I asked.
He shrugged, "My mom doesn't know."
"Well I'm sorry to but I don't think this is going to work out." His face fell and so did my heart.
I stormed off, I didn't know where to go because I couldn't go back home. I tried calling Enrique again but he didn't answer. I looked through my contacts. Dad, Enrique, Mom, Grandma (no),
Nick, Stacy. Maybe I'll try calling Stacy?
The phone rang. I heard her on the other line "What?"
"St-stacy I know I wouldn't normally call you but since we used to be friends a-and I can't go back home because of my dad, I don't have anyone else to call." I said on the phone through sobs.
She sighed. "You're lucky I'm in a good mood, but only one night."
"Thank you so much, you won't regret it trust me." I cried.
"I better not." She said before she hung up.

I walked up to Stacy's house and knocked on the door. She opened it, and I walked in.
"Your house is so nice, I forgot how nice it was." I told her.
"Yeah, I know," she said. "you can sleep on the couch, there's a pillow and a blanket.
"Are your parents home?" I asked her.
"No," She said. "They aren't home very often."
"Oh." I said before she walked upstairs to her room and I walked to the couch.
I finally realize why she's so mean, her parents aren't ever home. My dad is abusive but at least my mom is there for me sometimes.
I scrolled through Instagram for a little bit before I went to sleep.
I actually slept well, the couch was more comfortable than my bed. Must've been expensive.
When I woke up the next morning, I wanted to text Daniel, but I couldn't.
I tried to call Enrique again, but he never answered. I guess I'll see him at school. I thought.
Stacy walked downstairs, turning the other way towards the kitchen. I stood up and asked where I could shower. She pointed towards the door across from the kitchen doorway.
I went to take a shower and saw a text on my phone, it was from Daniel.
"I'm so sorry." The text read. I turned on read receipts and clicked on it. Then I shut off my phone and hopped in the shower.
