LXIX. In The Name of Unity (Part 5)

Yuko almost fired his blast, but he looked into Tammi's eyes and saw her fear. A sense of protection took over him as his hands stopped glowing and his Mark of Unity stopped burning. His eyes soon returned to normal and he remember who was in front of him. "Tammi?"

"You're back?" Tammi stood to her feet, but stood at a distance. She wasn't sure if 'Yuko' was back.

Yuko looked at his hands. They were shaking. "What did I.....How..."

Tammi realized that Yuko was back to normal and engulfed him with a hug. "You're back!!!"

Yuko hugged her back. It was happy to have Tammi in his arms. "I-I'm sorry....Did I..."

Tammi looked over at Xerus. He was grinning spitefully. "Don't worry about right now. You have unfinished buisness." She turned to run to the sidelines, but Yuko grabbed her hand.

"Stay here. We'll finish this guy together."

Xerus laughed. "Now I'm back in charge!! You don't stand a chance against me!!"

[DUEL CONTINUED]

"I assume that your turn is done because I'm ready to end this duel once and for all!!!"-Xerus

"YOU HAVE HUMILIATED ME LONG ENOUGH!!!! KRONON DESTROY SERAPHIA!!!! VOID OF HADES!!!!!!"-Xerus

Attacks Seraphia with Kronon.

"Yuko!!! Do something!!!"-Tammi

"I'm on it!"-Yuko

Yuko activates Everlasting Hope.

"I can draw one card and if it's a spell, I take no Battle Damage{Come deck. It's now or never. Everything relies on this draw}"-Yuko

Yuko draws 1 card and reveals a spell.

"Alright!!! Now only Seraphia will meet its end!!"-Yuko

Kronon destroys Seraphia.

"When Seraphia's destroyed while it has no Zeon Units linked to it, I can bring back a banished Zeo Monster!!"-Yuko

Seraphia's effect activates. Yuko Special Summons Tora(Earth/Lv.6/2500 atk).

"And since Dema and Heava were equipped Seraphia during its destruction, I can bring them back to the field!!!"-Yuko

Dema and Heava's effects activate. Yuko Special Summons Dema(Dark/Lv.4/0 atk) and Heava(Light/Lv.4/0 atk) from his graveyard.

"You won't get away with this."-Xerus

Sets 1 card.

"I will defeat you and rule this world!!"-Xerus

"No. You won't. You've brought such damage and despair to the city I've come to love...."-Yuko

Yuko felt dizzy and fell to his knees. Tammi tried to hold him up.

"You alright?" Tammi asked.

Yuko felt his vision fade a little. He fell to his knees again. "I can't pass out now...."

"You need to rest for a bit."

"I can't!! It's my job to-"

"Yuko, let me. I can finish this." Tammi felt a strong urge to face Xerus herself. "Benta and Kenji are unconcious and you need to rest. I can do this."

"No. I don't want you getting hurt."

Tammi activated her gear and turned towards Xerus. "I'll be your opponent!"
