The comfort of the bed made me want to sleep all day. Wait bed? I open my eyes to see my old room. Just the way I left it.
"You're awake." Zuko said standing in the doorway.
"What do you want?" I spat giving a menacing grin.
"I wanted to tell you that you should thank Ty Lee for bringing you home."
Ty Lee? I totally forgot about what happened last night. Tears began to well up in my eyes, no matter how hard I tried I couldn't keep them from coming. I didn't want Zuko to see me like this.
"What's the matter? You miss her?"
"Shut up! I don't miss anybody. Especially you!" I yelled.
I need to calm down. But how can I? I was promised the throne. It is rightfully mine.
"What do you mean you don't miss anybody Zula?" The Acrobat had said peaking her head around Zuko.
"That's not what I meant. I.."
"You miss her." Zuko Taunted.
"I don't know!"
I wanted to hide under the covers and cry. He wasn't making anything easier.
"It's ok Zula."
"Is it? I mean do I deserve to be here?"
"Course you do! Don't let anyone tell you otherwise."
I smiled. Something I haven't done in a long time.
"Thank you Ty Lee."
"I'll always be here for you. Remember that."
I saw blood trickle through her hand and a rose in her hand. What does this mean?
"You still have the rose."
"I kept it for you."
"Doesn't it hurt?"
"Course it does. But I stopped hurting a while ago."
I embraced her into my arms.
"It's ok to be hurt sometimes. You reminded me of that."
