Chapter 6: Part 2

His sleeping was soon disturbed when he rolled over to find Nico stirring in his sleep, eyebrows furrowed, water daring to spring from his tear duct, and a disturbed look on his face. Percy gave him a little shake to try and wake him up, but it did the opposite effect. Nico was almost screaming now he kept repeating, "No... No stop!" His tears that were nothing before. Now the streams that stained his face could flood a river. Percy could feel his anxiety bubble in his stomach like a volcano before an explosion. "Nico! Nico please wake up!" Percy grabbed the others shoulders shaking him now. It was bad. Nico was sobbing in his sleep, and Percy was having a panic attack. He clung to Nico and kept rocking as his panic continued. "Nico, Nico please..." Percy said holding him close. "Percy?" he said breathlessly. Percy sniffed, and let the boy go. "Nico are you okay?" Nico struggled with processing his words, "Wait what's wrong? Are you okay?" Nico wiped the tears off his own face wondering why Percy had some on his face. "Perc--" "No, Nico you answer my question first what the fuck was that." Percy heard his own words and it shocked him. He never swore. He never swore, never drank. Pussy. "I have nightmares," Nico said breaking the deafening silence. "Yeah no shit," Percy's hands reached his head pulling at the ends of his hair, "well are you okay do you need anything?" Nico shook his head. As the older boy started to lie back down Nico whispered, "Hey, uh, Perce?" He made a noise of response and muffled a yeah. "Would it be too much trouble for you to hold me a little while?" "Yeah sure," Percy said rambling on. Nico soon was curled up Percy's arm lazily flopped over him in a half-assed spoon. "Percy?" "Hmm" Nico rolled onto his other side to look Percy in his dazzling aqua eyes. "Thanks." Percy just nodded closing his eyes, a vision of the light skinned dark haired boy clouding his mind, and soon to be dreams.
