It was just another normal day at Mount Justice, Connor was watching "The Best Thing In The World" so he called it but really it was just Static, Wally and Artemis arguing ( as usual ) M'gann baking cookies, and burning them, Kaldur was reading something probably about fish, and Robin he was training.
Robin was kinda trying to solve something at the moment, why was Batman not telling him who broke out of jail last night. He was saying that it was too personal to Robin and something may happen if he knew, so of course he decided to investigate. He got dressed back in to his usual clothes a hoodie with a coat, some jeans, shoes, and shades. The second Dick saw Batman ( Bruce ) he ran up to him.
" Hi Batman"
" What is it now Robin"
" Oh, you know...."
"No you are not getting more information"
"But you never even gave me any information, at. all"
Bruce sighed, he knew that Dick was so stubborn especially when it came to a investigation. Dick wanted to know so desperately, but he just couldn't know who escaped. Maybe after the investigation was done he could but not ANY time soon.
Later that day, Dick just finished school and well so did Artemis, they both walked in at the same time. " Artemis, B07, Robin, B01" the Zeta Beam echoed " Hey Rob your back! oh and Artemis" Artemis's eyes eyes narrowed at Wally and of course he was eating a can of Beans, wait where'd he get a can of Beans?
Soon later Robin was in bed, at Wayne Manor, Bruce had just finished Supper well now was a bed time snack, when out of nowhere he heard yelling mixed with fear and sadness. Bruce ran to Dicks room as fast as he could, there was tears falling down his face very very fast, " No! don't fall please don't fall!" then his sobs got louder. Bruce quickly ran up to Dick and rubbed his back and shushed him, "Wake up please Dick" Bruce said to him softly.
Dick started flopping his hands around, once almost hitting Bruce, and screaming, yelling, and sobbing very loudly, then Bruce grabbed Dick in to a heart warming hug and soothed Dick that's when he woke up. " It's alright Dick, everything's fine" Dick held Bruce tighter, " I-I saw them again" he said between sobs, " I know, I know" is all Bruce said, apparently they never realized soon after that they fell asleep, in that same position all night long.
