Jonah's POV
I walked up the steps to my girlfriends house
"Ok jonah, she's your girlfriend. You love her. Don't screw this night up for her" I said to myself then rang the door bell
The door open and her dad stood there with a look in his eye that almost made me shit myself
"Hello, mr. y/l/n" I said while shaking his hand "hi jonah, come on in" mr. y/l/n said
"Y/n will be down in a minute, she's still not done getting ready" he said with a chuckle
I smiled and then looked up the stairs to see a shadow run across the hall
"Uh, is it ok if I wait here for her?" I said
"Yes. Actually jonah I would like to talk to you" he said with concern filling his face
"Of course mr. y/l/n, what's up?" I said really worried
"This is Y/n's last prom and I don't want anything to ruin her night. Last year she went with this stuck up boy who called me 'dude' and by the end of the night she came home in tears because he yelled her for not having sex with him. I honestly have never seen my daughter that heartbroken sense her mom died. So please make sure she is having a good time tonight and keep her safe." He said with a weak smile
"Mr. y/l/n, She makes me a better person and I wouldn't do anything to hurt her. I will keep her safe and happy tonight" I say "I love your daughter sir."
He looks at me and smiles then brings me into a hug
"I know I can trust you" he says then pulls away from the hug when he hears footsteps coming down the stairs. I look up and find the most beautiful girl I have ever seen
She gives me a smile and then continues walking down the stairs. I look at her and I am speechless, she's wear this beautiful black dress that compliments her curves with black heels. Her hair is curled and she doesn't have a lot of makeup on but that's ok because I've never seen anything more beautiful.
"Hi" she says while reaching the bottom of the stairs
"Wow" is all I could say
She giggled then looked into my eyes
"You look absolutely gorgeous" I say "well you don't look to bad yourself" she's says with a smile then turns to see her dad almost in tears
"Dad, it's ok" she walks over and gives him a hug
Y/n POV
I walked downstairs to see a adorable jonah. He looked so handsome in his tuxedo. I turned to my dad who was bawling his eyes out. I give him a reassuring hug and tell him it's ok. He smiles at me and looks me up and down amazed at what he sees
"Ok ok ok, you guys should leave before I make you stay here with me" he says with a soft smile
"Oh my god, I guess we will get going then" I say walk back over to jonah who also looked amazed at what he was seeing. I grab his hand and walk towards the door. I turn around to look at my dad who was crying even more then before
"I love you, dad" I say then walk out the door
Jonah's POV
Me and Y/n walked out the door and towards the car but before we got in she stopped us both and turned towards me
"When I came down the stairs, you and my dad were talking" she says
"Yep" I say with a smile
"May I ask what you guys were talking about?" She asks
"Ummm...I will tell you later" I say knowing that she wanted to know and that she was going to keep asking me until I spill
"Jonah" she says pulling me closer "is it anything I need to worry about"
"No baby, I promise" I say giving her a kiss
We pull back at the same time and stare at each other for a minute
I then open the door and she gets in
We get to the school where the prom was being held and I think the entire school was here cause there were so many cars in the parking lot. We walk in and see people dancing like maniacs but the smell of beer hit me and Y/n hard.
"I'm gonna go get a drink, do you want anything?" I ask
"Uh, can I just have some punch" she says
"Of course Baby" I say "I will be right back"
She nods her head then turns to look at the people dancing
I grab us both punch and walk back to where she was but she wasn't alone. There was a guy talking to her but she looked uncomfortable. I walked over to her and hugged her from behind
"Here's your punch baby" I say kissing her cheek softly
The guy looks shocked and annoyed at the same time
"Um, as you can see she won't be needing you to talk to anymore because I'm here....so bye" I say with a little bit of anger
The guy puts his hands and walks away
"I'm sorry babe, he came up to me and asked if I wanted to dance. I said no but he said he wouldn't take no for an answer" she says
"It's ok but if he comes back imma break his teeth in" I say making her laugh "do you want to dance?"
She nods her head and I take her hand. We were dancing like fools for a while until a slow song came on. I grab her waist as her hands make there way to my neck. I couldn't help but feel like the luckiest guy on earth. I'm so in love with this gorgeous girl
"I love you" I say
She looks up at me and smiles the biggest smile
"I love you too" she says then I kiss her passionately
She pulls away with a smirk on her face
"I don't really know how to put this" she say
"What baby?" I say looking at her with confusion
"Well there's this guy that I'm falling head over heels for but I don't know how to tell him that I have a new black lacy outfit on under this dress and I want him to take it off me so bad right now" she says bitting her lip
"Um well then, we are leaving now" I say pulling her to the exit door. She giggles and follows me
Let's just say things were very heated and wild that night. Which made jonah fall more and more in love with Y/n
