Y/N

I knocked on Connor's door maybe our day wasn't over, besides I thought maybe Zoe and I should . . . well, take our minds off each other.

Connor came up and unlocked the door, "Hey." He answered. "Hey." I walked into his room and he closed the door.

"Sorry for, well, my mom." I followed him to his bed and we sat down. "No, it's okay, I understand." I explained to him.

"So, hows Zoe? Does she, you know, know?" Should I tell him? I mean if I don't he'll hear it from her sooner or later.

"Um, kind of." She does know, and she does care, but I'm gonna try and leave our fight out of the conversation.

"How is she taking it?" Well crap. "Oh, um, she is alright." I didn't want to tell him the truth because then maybe he'll go after her.

"Really?" He questioned me, I nodded. "So what do you want to do now?" He asked me. I wanted to be done with today but not really.

I want to spend more time with him but I don't want to upset Zoe. "I don't know." I told him, I tried playing my feelings off, hopefully he can't see through them.

"Well, it's like 5:30, so I mean if you have to go I understand." I don't know what to do, what do I tell him?

"I mean I can probably stay for like thirty minutes." I told him. "That's okay, I can walk you home if you'd like." He was being so nice I don't understand what Zoe was talking about.

"Sure." I replied. We got up and I grabbed my stuff. As I was about to open the door Connor called my name.

"Ya?" I turned around, he was by the window. "Let's go this way." He opened the window. "Out the window?" I questioned him.

He looked at me and then back at the window again. "I mean if you don't want my parents to see us." He explained, he had a point.

I turned to him and walked towards the window. He finished opening the window.

The way the Murphy's house was set up was all the rooms were in the top floor. As I looked out the window, part of the roof was under the window, letting us climb onto the roof.

He climbed out first, once he was on part of the roof he reached up his hands to me. "Here, let me help you." I was halfway out the window. "I'm fine, thanks though." I told him.

I gripped my hands on the windows edge, under me was half of the roof and the other I was several feet up in the air.

Connor still kept his arms open for me to grab him if I needed them. "Y/N, let me help you." He told me.

He grabbed my side and pulled me to him. "Thanks." I was almost blushing. "No problem." He smiled.

We were still some feet up in the air. Connor crouched to the roof and walked over to the other side of the roof. I followed him.

He stopped. "Wait here." He sat down and moved his right leg down and turned his body around, then he let go.

I almost screamed, I crawled toward the edge. "Connor?" I quaked, as I looked down at him. "I'm okay, Y/N, don't worry." He got up and smiled.

He held his arms out again. "Here, jump to me, I got you." He was nine feet below me.

I just had to trust him. "Okay." I tried hiding my nervousness. I pushed myself off the roof and let go.

That's when I felt his arms catch me. My eyes were still closed when he asked me. "You okay?" I swallowed my worries away.
