Y/n pulled her sweater closer as a gust of cold wind went through her whole body. She walked through the crowd of people finally finding a spot where her best friend Lucas was sitting.
"Did you bring them?" The drown haired boy questioned
"Yup I got f/s for me and gummy worms for you." she handed him the bag of candy drawing her attention to the football game.
Since it was homecoming week the football game were free even the dance y/n was excited to go she already had her dress but nobody to go with the only boy she knew that didn't have a date was lucas.
"Hey Lucas you have a date to homecoming?" Y/n turned towards him.
"No, I already asked this one girl she said no" he looked down at his lap disappointed.
Y/n wasn't sure why girls didn't like lucas he surely wasn't ugly at all. Maybe they didn't like him because he was sensitive unlike most guys but y/n liked that lucas wasn't afraid of showing his feelings emotionally and physically [i can hear sade screaming]
"Well why don't we go together? that'd be fun right"
Lucas brought his attention back to y/n his face red from blushing
"r-really!" a smile appeared on his face
y/n laughed of how shocked he was "yeah then after we can go get some ice cream"
