16th June

2 hours later I was in black short overalls and a grey jumper with black converse. I didn’t feel like dressing up. Gemma and Jen had gone down to the party 40 minutes ago but I stayed upstairs in my room scared of running into Matt, which was stupid because only seconds later he appeared in my room with a sad expression.

“Hey Per,” He said sitting down facing me,

“Hey dick,”

“Don’t be like that,”

“Be like what?” I asked,

“Cold,”

“You can talk,” I mumbled,

“I want to talk,” He said,

“Well I didn’t expect you to come in here and dance,”

“There’s that sarcasm,” He said, I stared at him expressionless and shook my head,

“Just tell me what you want,” I said,

“I want to apologise,”

“Apologise? You want to apologise? You cheated on me! I’m going to need more than an apology,” I shouted angrily,

“I’m sorry, it was stupid but you did the same thing,” He said,

“Whatever Matt,” I said getting up,

“Don’t go I love you,”

“Well I don’t love you,” I snapped,

“You don’t fall out of love that fast,” He said,

“Who said I was in love?” I asked him,

“You weren’t?”

“How could I love someone who is fake?” I snapped, he looked taken back but pulled himself together,

“Fine whatever virgin,” He said,

“I’m not a virgin,” I said, he laughed loudly but his face dropped when he noticed I was serious,

“Was it Hood?”

“Why does it concern you?”

“WAS IT HOOD?!” He shouted angrily,

“Yes! Do you have a problem with that?” I asked,

“You’re just going to be another one on his list,”

“His list?”

“His list of girls he's fucked but doesn’t care about,” He hissed,

“Get out,” I heard someone say behind me, I turned around and saw Calum. Calum wrapped his arms around me and glared at Matt as he walked past,

“Thanks,” I said,

“You’re welcome,” He said,

“Let’s get a drink,”

“Ignore him,” Calum said,

“Huh?”

“You’re not on the list of girls I’ve fucked but don’t care about,”

“I’m not?”

“No, I care about you,” He said,

“You’re drunk,”

“Tiny bit,” He said laughing, I laughed and grabbed his hand,

“Let’s get drunk together,” I said,

“Let’s do it,” He said pulling me down the stairs.

We both grabbed a shot and downed them quickly.

We really shouldn’t party together.
