27th July

-Calum’s Point of View-

The boys had stayed over. I was certain Luke and Michael were asleep but I knew Ashton wasn’t because he was tossing and turning,

“You okay?” I whispered,

“You’re still awake?” Ashton whispered,

“Yeah,”

“Yeah I’m fine, I think,”

“No you’re not,” I whispered looking at him, he got off of the floor and sat on the end of my bed,

“It’s Jen,” He began,

“What about her?”

“I really like her,”

“You do?”

“Yeah but I just have this feeling that she’s holding something back, like there’s something she’s not telling me,” He whispered, I went to reply but was cut off by my doorbell ringing off of the hook,

“What the hell?” I asked, everyone in the room had woken up at this point and was moaning and rubbing their eyes. I ran down to the door and pulled it open, my parents, Mali and the boys were resting on the staircase waiting to see who it was,

“Steven?” I asked confused,

“Please tell me Perrie is here,”

“She’s not,”

“Oh my God,” Steven said,

“What’s going on?” Mum asked walking down the stairs,

“Perrie wasn’t in her room and neither was Jen,” Steven answered,

“They’ve probably gone for a drive,” Michael said appearing next to me,

“No, I went to Jen’s house and her parents found a note, Jen’s gone and I think Perrie’s gone with her!” Steven said starting to pace in my hallway,

“Jen’s gone? Gone where?” Ashton asked,

“She said somewhere they don’t know and don’t care about,”

“Oh my God,” He said falling onto the step,

“Wait, what if Perrie’s gone with her?” I said, everyone looked at me,

“I think she has Calum,” Mali told me, I fell to the floor and wrapped my arms around my legs burying my face into them,

“She can’t do this to me; she can’t do this to herself. A week ago she was in hospital for God’s sake!”

“We might still be able to catch them, they’ll be at the airport,” Steven said,

“I’ll drive,” Ashton said running up the stairs to get his keys.

-Jen’s Point of View-

I looked at Perrie, who was drawing shapes in the sand,

“Perrie you can’t be serious,” I said,

“I am serious Jen, I’m ruining Calum’s life and I can’t cope with all the drama and once people find out Jen they’re going to laugh at me and it’s just embarrassing,”

“Perrie-,”

“Please Jen, please I can’t take it anymore. Calum’s family act like they’re fine with it but I know they’re not, please Jen,”

“But Steve? And what about Gemma and the boys? Calum!”

“Once I’m gone everything will go back to normal,”

“No it won’t Perrie,”

“I just need to leave Jen!” She shouted,

“Perrie last week you were in hospital,”

“I know that Jen!”

“I’m not going to stop you am I?” I asked,

“No, you’re not,”

“Fine, it’s either you come with me or you go on your own,” I said,

“Really?”

“Yeah, let’s do this together,” I said grabbing her hand,

“Thank you Jen,”

“You’re welcome,”

“Let’s go,” She said smiling.

‑Ashton’s Point of View-

“Calum stop shaking your leg I can feel it!” I snapped,

“Sorry, just what if they’ve already gone?”

“Don’t be pessimistic,”

“Look at the board again,” Calum said, I stood up,

“That flight to London just took off,” I told him. I sat back down next to him but froze. Jen was always asking me what London was like and how much it was to go there.

“They’re on that flight to London that just took off,” I said,

“What? How do you know?”

“Jen was always asking me questions about London,”

“Fuck,” Calum said kicking the chair in anger,

“I’m sorry,” I said wrapping my arm around him,

“My girlfriend and my un-born child just boarded a 24 hour flight to another continent when just the previous week she was in hospital. What if something happens when they are in the air?”

“Don’t think like that she’ll be fine, they’ll be fine,”

“I’m never going to see her again am I?” Calum asked,

“I don’t know,” I answered sighing.

I can’t believe she left.
