-Perrie’s Point of View-

I watched as everyone around me ran around like crazy. I was hooked up to a lot of machines and every 20 seconds I was asked the pain I felt on a scale of 1-10.

“We’re gonna give you this to calm you down is that okay?” The doctor asked, I nodded my head and looked away as they stuck the needle in,

“Is my baby okay?” I asked,

“We’re not sure yet,” The nurse answered, the nurse grabbed my hand as the doctor put the gel on the stick,

“I can’t find a heartbeat,” The doctor said,

“Please look harder,” I said crying,

“It’s okay sweetie, you’re still early it’s hard to find a heartbeat sometimes,” The Nurse said squeezing my hand,

“Here,” The Doctor said,

“What?”

“There’s your baby and if you listen closely you can still hear the heartbeat. You’re okay and so is your baby,” He said,

“Oh thank God,” I said,

“I’ll go tell your fathers,”

“Thank you,” I said, “Thank you,”

“It’s what I do,” He said laughing, I laughed and relaxed,

“See nothing to worry sweetie,” The nurse said,

“Thank you for holding my hand even though it is super sweaty,”

“That’s what I do,” She joked, I laughed,

“I’ll be right back sweetie,” She said, I nodded my head and soon I was alone in the room. I was still hooked up to a lot of machines but one of those machines was the one with the baby’s heartbeat. I stayed still and just listened to it, it’s so beautiful.

“Perrie?” Calum asked running into the room,

“Sssh listen,” I answered,

“What?”

“It’s the heartbeat,” I said,

“It’s beautiful,” He said smiling,

“Are you okay?” I asked,

“I’m fine, are you okay?”

“Yeah just tired,”

“Then sleep, if anything happens I’ll wake you up,” He said, I nodded my head and got comfortable. Calum ran his thumb across my hand as I slowly fell asleep.

‑Calum’s Point of View-

“Calum! Calum she’s fine and so is the baby,” Steven said running over to me and helping me up,

“They are?” I asked,

“Yeah, she’s in Room 10 you go on,” Steven answered, I nodded my head and ran into room 10,

“Perrie?” I asked running into the room,

“Sssh listen,” She answered,

“What?”

“It’s the heartbeat,” She said looking at me,

“It’s beautiful,” I said smiling,

“Are you okay?” She asked,

“I’m fine, are you okay?”

“Yeah just tired,”

“Then sleep, if anything happens I’ll wake you up,” I said, she nodded her head and got comfortable. I ran my thumb across her hand as she slowly fell asleep.
