A new Mission ahead

~a few weeks after the bell test~

Ever since the bell test we have been going on low ranked missions like, helping around the village, or catching the crazy old lady's cat but none of them have been exciting not even a little. Naruto has complained a lot and it's getting annoying but what can I do? I can't just magically make a harder mission appear.

~a few minutes later~

Ok so now we are on a escort mission due to Naruto's complaining...we are escorting a bridge builder back to his home, it sounds like an easy enough mission.

"Yeah finally a mission worth my rank, this should be easy!!" Naruto said with excitement as we all walked home.

"Don't get too excited Naruto it may not be as easy as you think, we are traveling away from the safety of the leaf village so there are many more dangers out there..." I said crossing my arms and rolling my eyes at Naruto's foolishness.

"Yeah, yeah, all I know is that I'm the strongest so if you ever find yourself in trouble Y/N or Sakura just shout my name and I will be there, believe it!" He said grinning from ear to ear. Me and Sakura looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"Naruto you are our hero." We both said sarcastically, still laughing our heads off. I looked over at Sasuke, he has been quiet this whole time, I wonder what he's thinking right now....

~3rd person point of view~

Squad 7 all walked off towards their homes in the village, not knowing what dangers lay ahead on this mission, their only thoughts where to complete it and get back home safely...this mission was definitely unexpected to the bunch but Y/N seemed to know the most about the dangers and what could be ahead....
