I asked Hyunjin about it, when I saw him hugging someone else a week ago.
He laughed for a moment
showing me his beautiful eye smile that I love so much
before telling me that she was his cousin.
I didn't doubt him for a second
because I love and trust him
that's why I laughed it off with him.
Although earlier today, making my way towards my go-to convenience store,
I saw two familiar figures who were happily walking
while holding hands towards a nearby restaurant.
Those two figures looked a lot like Hyunjin and the one he told me his cousin.
During that moment, I felt my heart sank and slowly shatter.
Rubbing my eyes together, trying to comprehend what I just saw
but they were gone in an instant
leaving me releasing a breathe that I was unknowingly holding.
Perhaps, my eyes were deceiving me
and I still decided to trust him for I know he loves me
and he wouldn't do such a thing to hurt me.
