Kalani's POV
I wake up and realize I don't have anymore food in the mini fridge. Ugh. I hate walking down to the store it's right next to my old school and all the kids trying to get at me it's ridiculous. Plus on the way there, there's a whole street full of druggies. I think I might actually get some today, I need to clear my head. I get out of bed, take a shower and head out. I was about half way to my school when I see someone familiar on the druggie street. Who is tha- Jadan!!
K: omg, Jadan!
J: oh hey Kalani, wassup
K: that's all I get wassup?
J: you know how I feel
K: I haven't seen you in two years
J: didn't senior year just start?
K: whatever, bye then
I walk away and feel hands around my waist so I turn around
J: I'm just messing with you jeez
*He says as he hugs me*
K: i missed you
J: same here
K: anyway are gonna discuss why your over here?
J: well...
K: seriously
J: look, I've been stressing out lately and um...
K: well I guess I can agree
J: oh so I'm not the only bad one here
*We laughed*
J: so I mean I got some heroin if you don't mind me crashing at your place?
K: sure. My place. By place I mean hotel
J: got kicked out?
K: yeah
J: same here
K: well I gotta be thankful that they are paying for it
J: yeah, I remember when my grandpa first picked you up. You were so sweet and adorable I felt bad for you, but not too bad because I was only 9 and all I cared about was avengers and Pokemon
*We laugh*
K: anyway I was headed to the store
J: let's bounce
K: not too much, don't want the bag to fall out *laughing*
J: don't worry it's secure
K: good
We walk to the store, grab a couple things at get back to the hotel. After we eat our 2 dollar frozen pizza😂, we go to my room. He gets a spoon, puts it on the top and lights the bottom of the spoon until it melts. He dejects it with a syringe and injects it into his arm
J: your turn
I hesitate at first but take it anyway I deject some of it from the spoon and put it in my arm. A couple minutes later Jadan is in the living room watching tv looking just fine, I'm guessing he's done this before. In two minutes I was tripping so hard, I couldn't see straight and Jadan came in. He asked me what's wrong but I felt like my mouth was so numb I couldn't talk. He laughed and hugged me until I fell asleep.
I woke up and Jadan was still next to me i get up and he pulls me back down to the bed
K: What?
J: where ya going
K: your grandpa gave me a call last night, he found out I wasn't going to school and then he re-enrolled both of us. So I suggest you get ready
