My name, well that's unimportant. The thing you need to know is that with my Millennium item I remembered some of my past. I was reincarnated from one of the ancients so to speak, not entirely accurate but close enough. I know there were originally only seven Millennium items but the Pharaoh made one and imbued some of its power to me.

I was sitting on my porch looking at my ring. It was smaller than any of the other seven items, but that was to my advantage. Only the two of us knew about it, to my knowledge at least. The Millennium necklace and ring were the easiest to hide. I closed my eyes rubbing my face, this was starting to hurt my head again. This time though my body started to heat up like I was surrounded by flames.

I groaned clutching my chest. "Are you alright?" I opened my eyes slowly, there was a boy standing before me. He had yellow, black and red hair. He also wore a Millennium item around his neck.

"Ah that explains it." I pointed my hand to the puzzle. "My head starts to hurt when an item that isn't my own gets to close." I waved my hand back away from the piece. "I'm assuming you know what it is and what it does." His eyes seemed to follow my hands movements. Strange little spiked boy, he also had a more goth look about him, or was it a punk look? I couldn't understand these styles.

His eyes narrowed as he looked at my ring. "What is that?" His eyes opening again, I just slid my hand behind my back hiding the ring.

"That's none of your concern boy. While you look familiar to me, I don't trust you. My Pharaoh gave me orders not to trust anyone but him." His head tilted slightly looking at me. Why was he looking at me like that.

"Your Pharaoh? Who's that?" I just sighed moving to stand. Now that I was standing I realized we were almost the same height.

"I.. I can't remember his name. I don't remember that far back but, he gave me my ring. My Millennium item. I can't be parted with it. My connection to him is to important to me." I looked down, my fingers grazing the edges of the ring. That's when I felt a change. Looking up again he just seemed different. "What?"

His eyes were the most notable. "So you would answer to no one but me? While I appreciate it, you can talk to Yugi. He is the vessel in which my spirit resides." His arms crossed as he looked down on me. It was almost intimidating. I took a step back there was no way, was it really him? His eyes widened slightly. "Now then back to the first question. Are you alright?"

I nodded, stumbling slightly, sweat running down my face. "Like I said your puzzle effects me. You forgot didn't you? Why you gave me the ring? I can relate, hardly remembering the reasons myself. My memories of that time are limited, only images of my Pharaoh and the Millennium items remain. Honestly, I didn't remember any of this until I bought back my ring. Then I remembered who I was , what I was to do. I pledge myself to you, my Pharaoh."

Moving to bow to show my loyalty I became dizzy and fell forward. His arm reaching out caught me. "You don't seem fine to me." One hand held his arm, the other with the ring clutched his jacket as I breathed heavily. "Is there something I can do to help?" I shook my head, my body shaking before my knees hit the ground. He followed me keeping me steady.

"The shadow realm. My link was cut, can you fix it?" I finally asked, doing so made me feel weak, like I had felt this before. I heard him grunt and space warping, seeing black and purple swirling in the air.

"Will you- What is your ring doing?" He lifted my hand setting me against a wall seeming to inspect it carefully.

"It's talking in the atmosphere of the shadow realm. You found me here during the shadow games. I was so close to death, you saved me. For that I owe you a debt I could never repay because, of the way you saved me I have to come here to regain any strength I lost when new pieces come near me. This also allows me to acclimate to your pieces. You will not hurt me here."

My face remained stony, no emotion shown to him. "Tell me, what is your name. Knowing it might help me remember." I sat up straight taking my still glowing ringed hand.

"It's (Y/n), and it's a pleasure to see you again my Pharaoh." I stated greeting him in the samegreeting way I had when he first saved me. His eyes showed slight recognition. "Yes, I know. You thought I was dead the first day we met. My shallow breaths and broken mind having been stuck here for so long. You took me away from this place making this ring to hold the shadow realms hold on me. The flaw being that I needed it to keep my mind whole, and taking away my emotions. You tried to help me, even kept me by your side as you tried to save the world."

The world returned to normal I was sitting on the stairs, he was kneeling before me, those eyes returning to the boy who found me. He was smiling holding a hand out to me. I grasped it and we shook. "It's nice to met you too, (Y/n). Do you play Dual Monsters?" I gave a small nod. "cool, want to dual?" I gave a second nod following him to his grandfahers game shop. I knew who I was fighting when we started, even so I didn't hold back. I never loose a battle not even to the man I owe my life to.

With a Dark Magician, Kaiser Sea Horse, Red eyes black dragon, and Red-eyes darkness dragon, Phoenix Grafried, with a few others. Such as, Dark Magician Knight, and two magical hats cards. "What? How did you beat me?" Yugi asked.

I just smiled lightly. "I've spent months getting these cards. I was just lucky enough to get a Kribo and multiply card in my hand. I learned from the best back in the old days but these are my favorite cards." I pulled up a Black Luster Girl Soldier and a Yellow-eyes Green Dragon.

"Wow, those are nice, where did you get them?" I pulled up the pack that I got them from holding it out to him.

"I keep this pack with me. Everytime I get new cards I have this with me. Even gotten some some nice trap cards from it. When I opened that card pack it was the luckiest I'd ever been. So I kept it with the cards I got from that pack inside." He nodded giving it back to me. I tucked my cards back in and placed them in my card box.

"I see, I remember you now. Its been quite a long time, you used some stratigies I use myself. You could only know them from me, the question is did you posess this body as your own? Are you a Spirit?" I shook my head pulling my ring free. Holding it out to him. Ho took it in his hand looking it over.

He seemed confused as I started to sweat again. "This is my body, my origional spirit. I took no one's body. When tge pieces of the Millenium items were found I was pulled from my sleep. That ring keeps me whole, like I said before. The first piece woke me with just enough strength to reach the Shadow Realm."holding the ring in my hand once again i put it back on.

"I'm sorry this has happened to you. You were a loyal friend to me before and still are. There is a tourny being held here in town do you know if you will be attending?" I nodded holding up the invitation. He took it looking it over.

"Do you want to go with me?" He was back to that kid again. Why doesn't he just take over the body. If he did that everything would be easier. Then maybe it was part of some great plan. I just closed my eyes, it wasn't my concern. My concern was protecting my Pharaoh.

"I hadn't planned on it no, but seeing as it is my duity to stay beside your side I will attend. Just know this child, if you loose that puzzle piece I will have to destroy you. He is everything to me and I will not loose him again.
