You watched in horror as Theo was pushed to the ground by the Ghost riders, they circled him twice and then stopped suddenly.
The air was knocked out of him and he couldn't move. You didn't know what to do it was like you were frozen on the spot, different plans of action were running through your brain.
When they stopped your breathing stopped, you still felt something for Theo even after he left you in the woods alone so that you could get taken by the Dread doctors.
He'd tried to make it up to you and you had pushed him away. Eventually you became strangers, strangers who would insult each other at every chance they get.
One of the Ghost riders pulled out their gun, ready to take Theo.
You hesitated, your mind stuck between saving him and letting him get taken just like he had with you.
You sighed angrily before jumping out of the shadows and attacking the enemy. Growling as your eyes started to glow yellow, you stood protectively over Theo.
Eventually the Riders were taken down one by one and you were left breathless and bruised.
Theo watched you, a confused expression on his face. Confusion turnt to anger in a matter of seconds.
"Are you not even going to say thankyou"you panted, holding out your hand for him to take.
"Thanks"he grunted placing his hand in yours so that you could help him up off the ground.
"Wow it sounded physically painful for you to say thank you to me"you frowned, as you started to walk away, Theo was busy dusting himself down.
You stopped in your tracks and spun around.
"What's your problem Raeken I just saved you from turning into green freaking smoke, why are you mad. I should be mad not you?!"you exclaimed angrily.
"That's just it y/n, you're oblivious, you put yourself in danger for me again! You don't care if you get hurt as long as I'm okay! You make it hard for me to hate you"Theo shouted.
"Then don't hate me Theo, because I don't hate you anymore!"you screamed back.
He hesitated before storming towards you, his lips crashed into yours. His hands wrapping around your waist pulling you closer.
"Don't hate me Theo"you whispered against his lips once you'd parted.
"I don't hate you, In fact I'm pretty sure I'm in love with you"Theo smiled before bringing you in for another kiss.
