Chapter 4

Arnav's most confusing predicament was Akash and Payal. How will they get together? Arnav wondered. His confusion was cleared when word got out that the groom demanded more money from Guptas as now they will be associated with rich family like Raizadas. Arnav took advantage of the situation and like the effluent businessman he is convinced everyone to get Akash and Payal married on that day instead of another groom. Akash, who fell in love at first sight was ecstatic. Raizadas wanted nothing but Akash's happiness while Guptas didn't have any other way. They cannot give what the groom side demanded to they had to give in to Raizada's idea and get payal married to Akash. Akash and payal's wedding happened a day before Arnav and Khushi's engagement.

Arnav and Khushi's engagement was the grandest celebration to Gupta standards. Since Raizadas wanted the wedding to take place in Delhi, Buaji left no stone unturned to make engagement a big affair. Khushi was dressed in a pink and red lehanga that Arnav sent in the morning and Arnav was dressed in a white sherwani. Everyone was happy beyond words and the happiest were Arnav and Khushi.

"Jijaji we will miss Khushi if you take her away from us sighed Khushi's friend Dhivya

"Now Khushi will forget us if she goes to big city like Delhi teased another friend Preeto

"Will you take good care of our friend jijaji? asked Heer

"Ask your friend if she will take good care of me ragged Arnav

"Oh Khushi will absolutely take care of you jijaji. In fact she has started already. For past two days she has been learning to make your favourite black coffee and making our mouths bitter " mocked Dhivya making everyone giggle

"Chup Khushi warned chiding Dhivya

Arnav looked at Khushi with a raised eyebrow making Khushi lower her eyes and blush.

"Now what will you do for our Khushi? Preeto asked

"Anything Arnav said without a second thought.

Khushi looked at him and his eyes were full of promises and affection.

"Anything? What if she asks you to do something you cannot? asked Dhivya

"Oh I will do, but I know she will not ask anything like that Arnav said

"Jijaji you are talking as if you know very well about Khushi said Heer

"Of course "said Arnav confidently winking at Khushi

"Really!! chorused all three

"Really he copied them

"Let me check. What is her favourite colour?

"Red

"Her favourite hero?

"Salman Khan

"Favourite sweet?

"Jalebi. These all are very easy

"Okay then do you know why Khushi hates cats?

"Because a cat ate her fishes when she was 8

"Why she never climbs trees?
"Because she fell down and sprained her leg so after that she detests tree climbing

The question and answer would have continued if not for Akash who interrupted them as Arnav was needed to greet some guests.
