It was a new day. I was determined to try my hardest not to get irritated. Learning to fight was important. It would what keep me alive in battle.
This morning, Fennelscar invited Thornpaw and Pikepaw to help me practice.
They were told to attack me and I had to defend myself. Claws unsheathed.
I was beaten up horribly. I got a long cut over my ear.
Fennelscar laughed. His shiny white teeth forming a wicked grin. They all laughed.
Fennelscar suddenly stopped. He stalked up to me, his fierce eyes sparkling like a wildfire.
"You stupid apprentice!" He hissed. "I take my time to teach you moves and you don't even remember them. How disgraceful." He spat in my face.
I flattened my ears in defensive, my heart thrumming in my chest.
"You'd be better off like your brother." He paused and tilted his head. "Dead."
