This abstract piece was created by using different ink colors, Johnson's baby oil, oil pastels, a black 0.8 Fine Line Uni-Pin Pen, different sized feathers, different types and sizes of sponge, toothpicks, and a nail brush. I produced this piece while listening to music to show how the different beats and strokes of music can affect the way I move a brush or the object used to apply color all together. The music is emerging from the Tabla (primary source) to show how instruments are usually needed to create music. I also added an Arabic newspaper in the background to reinforce the Arabian culture feel. Andre Breton's "Constellations" that was created in 1959 was also an inspiration to create this abstract piece (artist/secondary source – Google 3/12/17).
