Your POV:

   I was sitting on the couch watching tv while I was waiting for my girlfriend to get home. My phone started blowing up with notifications.
I look at my phone and see:

"omg lauren cheated on you"
"I'm so sorry"
"I saw a picture of Lauren kissing a guy😬"
"I'm sorry (y/n) but Lauren cheated on you"

  Tears started to leave my eyes and roll down my face. How could she do this to me? I thought she loved me and I loved her? I was broken out of my thought when I heard the front door open. "Baby, I'm home." lauren shouted. As soon as I heard that I ran upstairs to our room and slammed the door. I leaned on the door that was now locked and slid my back down it with my face in my hands letting the tears escape from my eyes. I hear Lauren coming up the steps. "Baby, why are you crying?" she said through the door. I didn't respond. How does she even have the nerve to ask? She knows damn well what's wrong. "Please tell me (y/n/n)" "please don't cry". I tried to ignore her but I heard her crying too. It was hard to ignore her when I knew she was upset. "You know what's wrong, Lauren." I yelled. "No, I really don't know what's wrong." She said through the door. "Yeah, you actually do." I cried. I heard the door knob move a little as Lauren was trying to open the door. She knows how to pick locks I'm surprised she hasn't already gotten the do- I was broken out of my thought when the door opened. I stood up quickly and went and sat on the bed, facing the wall. She came and sat next to me and put her arm around me. I immediately pushed her off of me. She looked at me with confusion. "Did I do something wrong." "Umm, yeah." I said and rolled my eyes. I tried to hold back the tears. "I know you cheated on me lauren everyone is-" I got cut off when Lauren stood up and started yelling, "(Y/F/N) I WOULD NEVER EVEN THINK ABOUT CHEATING ON YOU AND YOU KNOW THAT." "Whatever, Lauren."
Everything was quite for a minute or so until I got up and ran down the stairs. I grabbed the keys off the counter and slammed the front door behind me. As I was walking to the car tears started running down my cheeks. I got in the car and started it. I sat there for a minute, not knowing where to go, and having some hope that Lauren would come after me. She didn't. I pulled out of the driveway and just drove. I was hoping to get a call from Lauren. Nothing. I was hoping to get a text from Lauren. Nothing. I was so mad at this point I didn't know where to go. I didn't pack my bags and I wasn't about to go back to the house. I pulled over by the lake that's about 15 minutes away from our house. The lake is always calming and just a nice place to relax and clear your mind.
I was sitting on the bench listening to the sounds of nature. The water moving, the birds chirping, the wind blowing. It was all so relaxing. I love this place. I picked up my phone to see if I got any texts or calls from Lauren. Still nothing. Just more notifications about Lauren cheating on me. I decided to just turn off my phone and not think about anything but right here and right now.
I turn around because I hear somebody walking towards me. "Hey, are you ok?"
