It was a foreign and euphoric feeling,
Surrounded by 'happiness' and 'joy',
I was in a void filled with endless thoughts,
And had become custom
to your controlling demeanour.I suppose that was my idea of love,
My escape from reality.
I hadn't taken any notice of it then,
I was young and naive.
I knew nothing but you,
And I thought you would've given me the world.I was hypnotised by your deep brown eyes,
And was manipulated by your 'sweet' words.
I didn't know how to let go.
I was blinded by my feelings,
As I claimed you were the only one for me.I wish I'd listened,
When they'd warned me to keep away.
But there was something about you,
That had almost instantly forced me to stay.It was only then I had realised,
what I'd really gotten myself into.
And just like the rest of them,
I had fallen into your mischievous web of lies.~herwordsoffantasy
