Secrets get spilled on Thursday

Thursday morning
Kao's point of view

I'm heading towards my uni, drinking chocolate milk and listening to my favourite music. I decided to hide a bit before the class starts, not because I'm sad but because I like being alone sometimes, and I just don't want the others to ask me questions. 'There's an old classrom at the top floor and no one uses it for classes, actually I don't think anyone goes there at all. It's a good place to go to colect your thoughts because it's pretty quiet there. The classroom is above the second floor, a kind of an attic like floor.' When I got there I tried to avoid the gang and quickly made my way upstairs to the classroom. Once I got there I sat on one of the desks that are in there. The classroom was dark because they closed the curtains on the windows,but I kinda liked that, it gave of a calm and I guess a bit of a romantic vibe. 'Even though there were roumors about ghosts and demons on this floor, I think it's still nice here. I'm not really scared that there are ghosts here because I don't believe it, I didn't see anything or hear so why should I believ in it. I didn't believe in this stuff that easily and I always tried to find the most reasonable explanation as to why some of the stuff that happens happened. But when I'm convinced there's some kind of ghostlike creature I can be slightly afraid. But I still stay calm and even start looking for the ghost or whatever disturbes the places. I got that from my cousin, he always liked exploring places that were supposedly 'haunted' and i would tag along almost always. We have found and seen some crazy things while exploring. Sometimes though it wasn't scary but actually fun, some of the abandoned places were bowling alleys or places like that, and those were the most fun to explore. We would often just goof around and laugh the whole way through the trip but a few times were super scary. Once we visited an abandoned hospital and the whole way through we heard noises. We would constantly hear banging sounds, cries, screams and even footsteps coming from various directions. Sometimes it would be somewhere far away, sometimes in a room next to us or above/under us, or even infront of us. But sometimes we would her whispers and faint footsteps just a little bit behind us, and we even felt someone breathing on our neck a few times, but when we turned around there wasn't anyone, and they couldn't run away and hide that quickly. We found a lot of creepy grafiti on the walls and some satanic drawings. We were convinced there was someone in there and we had solid proof. We found a lot of clothes that looked pretty new, food and stuff like that but there was one thing we found that actually made us leave earlier than we were supposed to. We found a gun and blood stains in one of the rooms. The gun still had amo in it. The room smelled horrible. We quickly ran out of the building and ran a good distance away from there. My cousin decided it would be for the best if we called the police to inform them, but me being me immediately stopped him. The front door of the building was bordered up because you weren't supposed to enter this building. We actually found another entrence. And if we told the police about the gun we would have to explain them why we were going inside. To our luck there were no people living near this abandoned place so we made up a story. We said to the police that we were walking around when we heard a gun shot coming from the inside. There were no othere people around except us and they decided to go in and investigate. They found a few guns and knives and but not the owner. They thanked us for calling them and said they'll handle it from there. It was a crazy adventure to say the least. Now that I'm mentioning this I know I still have my trusty flashlight my cousin gave me for exploring. I keep it with me at all times, just in case i need it. Me and my cousin both made a signature on our flaslights as a little adventure sign. It glowed in the dark and I loved it. For others it is a simple flashlight but for me it's something that caries a lot of memories and adventures.' I got the heart necklace out of my bag and a picture of P. I had so many great memories with him and I was glad I had someone like him. So I simply started remembering the memories I shared with him.

Sandee's point of view

Me,June, Thada and Pete were just hanging out in the cafeteria when I noticed that Kao still wasn't here so I got the gangs attention by asking "Guys has anyone seen Kao this morning?" They all loked around and June said "No, but I don't think he's sick, I mean he was perfectly fine yesterday, so he has to be here somewhere. Maybe he went to the toilet and got sucked in by the toilets! OII! What was that for San?" He screamed as I hit him over the head. Sometimes I really wonder how he got accepted to this uni. "I'll go search for him, Thada you come with me."  "Why?"  "Because I need a guy to check the male toilets and these two wouldn't be cooperative that I know." And so we went to search for Kao. After a good few minutes we already covered the first floor, and almost the whole second floor and we still haven't found Kao. I had no clue where he could be and Thada also looked confused, but then I remembered that there's the so called 'haunted floor' that we still haven't checked. I head towards the stairs and Thada follows mumbling something like 'why go to the haunted floor?' I held back my giggle and just grinned, I guess he's afraid of such things. I'll have to remember that it may be useful in the future. When we got upstairs we headed towards one of the classrooms with an open door, there we found Kao sitting on a table.  "Kao what are you doing here?" I asked and he immediately turned around to look at us hiding whatever he was holding in his hands a second ago. "O-oh-nothing nothing just uhh siting and ummmm thinking, yeahh thinking. Heh." I could tell he's lying and from Thada's expression he wasn't buying it either so we interrogated him untill he told us the truth. He told us abot his cousin and why he wasn't here on monday. He started crying mid story so we sat next to him to comfort him. He begged us not to tell anyone else and we swore to keep it a secret. We explained that we're his friends and if he ever needs someone to talk to we'd listen to him. He gave us a slight smile and when he calmed down we headed back to the other two guys. June didn't miss the chance to be noisy so of course he started asking questions. "Hey Kao where were you? What were you doing? Why didn't you come to us first? Did-? OI! SAN! WHY ARE YOU HITING ME SO MUCH TODAY!" June just whined like a baby. I'm actually surprised he got out of kindergarden with how he acts sometimes. "First off  you are asking to many questions at once, Kao can't answer them all at once and-" I started but Thada finished "-you deserved the smack."  "But really Kao where were you?" Pete asked
I could see Kao getting nervous so i shot a glance to Thada and he immediately understood what I meant because he started talking "We found him at the stairway to the 'haunted floor'."  "Why would you go there?" Pete continued questioning him but Kao decided to answer him "Well I heard there are ghosts and demons there, so I wanted to go to explore it and see for myself because I don't really believe it. I do believe ghosts and demons are real but I don't actually believe we have those in our uni. So I wanted to go there and check it out for myself if there was actually something there. Then these two came and draged me back so yeah." He was calm while answering and I have to admit I was impressed he came up with something good like that that quickly. And Pete and June actually bought it, but I can't blame them even I would have bought it if i didn't know the truth. We hung out a bit more and then left for class. Our teacher told us that we'll be doing an assignment next week so we need to make groups. For the rest of the lesson I could hear people talking about who to pair with. When lunch break came we decided to make groups. "Ok so I think we should have Kao and Pete in one group and me Thada and June in the othere."  "Why that?" June asks "Because I think Kao could work good with Pete, they have become a bit closer as friends and maybe Kao can get Pete to actually do something for once and you are not going to their group because you're lazy and with Pete there you'd make it harder for Kao because at the end Kao would work alone, and you'd distract him with stupid things like drinking and chicks. Me and Thada are both going to do some work so it will be easier to get you to do something as well! "  As I said that I smacked him across the head because I knew he'd want to argue about me calling him lazy. The day went by ok and before I knew it it was over. Pete drove us home and reminded us that we're going out on the weekend to celebrate our win at the dancing battle. 'I feel pity for Kao. He went through a lot lately and I'm glad he hasn't pushed us away. I hope he doesn't have to go through something bad like this again. He's a kind person, a god dam angel! I hope he'll find the right person for him, someone who will treat him well and take care of him like he was an actual angel. He deserves that after what he's been through. He had a rough past and what happened now wasn't any better.'

Sandee wasn't the only one who thought that, Thada was thinking the same. But Thada was thinking about one more person beside Kao...
Kao was just at home thinking about everything that happened today and being thankful to have someone like Sandee and Thada. He was glad they didn't rant him out. He just doesn't want everyone to know abot that. He wants to keep that past hidden from as many people as possible. Though he doesn't want to share too much he's thankfull to have such great friends and maybe he can tell them a few small things like...
