Chapter 9 - Alone

YOUR P.O.V

You woke up and stared at a white ceiling. You tried to stand up, but you noticed you were tied up to a chair. You looked around in the hope to see anyone.

"Hello? Where am I? Is anybody there?"

No response

"Listen, I'm not totally happy with the idea that I'm here alone. Tied to a chair. Not even knowing where I am."

Still no response

"Oh come on there must be someone here right? What kind of kidnappers leave their prisoner alone?"

You tried to look for cameras but saw none.

"There aren't even cameras here. Must be pretty low budget."

You heard a cough coming from the left side of the room

"Ahah, I knew I wasn't alone. What do you want from me?"

"You're Y/N Y/L/N right?"

You heard the voice saying

"How do you know my name?"

"That's not very hard you know."

"Why am I here? What do you want from me?"

"I want revenge."

"For what? What did I do?"

"You don't even remember..."

Then you thought about the child.

"Listen, I didn't do it on purpose. I didn't know she was a child who was hiding. I'm..."

You teared up

"I'm so sorry..."

"The child? I don't care about her. Nooo! Listen Y/N, you killed my father."

"I did what? When? Why?"

"You don't even remember do you? The day you broke in at SHIELD's headquarters? When you exploded everything!"

"I didn't explode anything."

"Now I know that, but you had to get in first didn't you?"

"Your father was..."

"One of the guards. Ding ding ding, we have a winner."

"Listen, I couldn't control my powers back then."

"And you can now?"

"I.... My powers left with the explosion. The gasses in the air killed it..."

"That's pretty sad. You know I was hoping that by the time, you would kill yourself but now you can't anymore. What a shame, now I'll have to do it myself"

"Just listen. I couldn't control it."

"I knew you couldn't, I know you didn't mean to kill them, I really do.... but unfortunately.... you killed my father. Accident or not, I will have my revenge."

"YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE, BEING SOMETHING, BUT NOT EVEN BEING ABLE TO BE YOURSELF WITHOUT KILLING OTHERS!!"

"I THINK I DO!!"

"How?"

"I used to have my mutant powers too, and I couldn't control them so I decided to end them. My father gave me everything I needed. When your father exploded everything, my work went with it. That's how you lost your powers and I lost mine."

"....you were there the day at the explosion."

"Yes I was, and I walked towards my father only to find him dead."
