For about the past few days, me and Bethany have been getting along. Like yesterday, we went out for Starbucks.

I think me and Bethany are starting to become friends again. I kinda love it.

Bethany: mall today?

My phone dings.

Connor: I'll pick you up in 10?

Bethany: no. 20.

Connor: right. Girls take longer

Bethany: we don't wake up looking like a million bucks ☺️

Connor: except you do.

Bethany: 😊

What did I just do? I literally- I flirted with her. Oh my farkles.

The mall is great so far. Beth and I got Starbucks. We both had caramel macchiatos.

We walked pass Aeropostale. I looked over at her.

"I'm sorry." I apologized.

"For what?" She sipped on her drink.

"For not showing up at your opening." I said.

"It's fine. It was my fault." She smiled.

That smile. It could cure the world.

Suddenly, Beth dipped her finger into the whip cream of her drink and wiped it on my nose.

"Wha- oh, you better run." I smiled evilly.

I watched her run off laughing. I chased after her and saw her turn. So I turned and tripped.

"Oh my god." She bursted out laughing.

I pretended I hurt my ribs.

"Ah. That hurt. What the hell, Beth?" I fake cried.

"Oh my- I'm sorry." She stuck her arm out to help me get up but I pulled her.

She fell on top of me and we both started laughing.

"Excuse me." Some old lady said.

We both got up and snickered.

Today was probably the best day since I moved here. Bethany is like the sun. She makes the day brighter.

I soon heard a light knock on my apartment door. And then when the three knocks.

I opened it and my jaw hit the floor.

"Hey, Connor..." We stood there in silence.

"Jade..." I was shocked.
