If one were to ask the other students, without a doubt, they will say that Akari and Jaemin are one of the friendliest students there are. Selfless, softspoken, and all smiles.
And so, as if it's been written by the stars above, underneath the starry night, Akari and Jaemin found themselves growing fond of each other's presence.
"Remember when I met you that night?" Jaemin asked, swinging his legs as he sat at the edge of the table.
"How could I forget?" Akari replied with a smile, sitting down on the bench and taking out a few sweets out of the pocket of her blazer.
Handing half of them to Jaemin, he took them and proceeded to rest his arm on Akari's head.
"I've managed to feel genuinely happy much more than I did before that..." Akari spoke slowly and plopped a piece of the sweet in her mouth.
"As long as you need me, I'll be here to make sure you'll smile with that smile," Jaemin assure Akari. Moving his arm away, he then ruffled her hair.
"If only you sounded this nice when you asked me out," Akari said sarcastically as she poked Jaemin at his hip.
"I believe that if you're happy, smiling, laughing joyfully, it doesn't mind on what kind of approach I need to use," Jaemin replied, continuing to ruffle her hair.
"It still feels like it's too good to be true..." Jaemin spoke, slowly turning his sight to look at Akari, who stared back into Jaemin's eyes.
Softly, as if whispering, Jaemin explained, "That I could make people smile but it was hard for me to smile like they did. And after that long struggle, the cure was a person that's in the same position as I was."
"It takes a thief to catch a thief," Akari replied, making the two laugh of the wrong usage of metaphor.
After their laughter died, silence enveloped them and they stared at the constant movement of people in the street in front of the school.
As Akari let out a relieved sigh, a timid smile carved on her face and she spoke, "I'm happy I'm spending my days like this..."
Resting his arm across her shoulders, Jaemin giggled before replying, "I know. Me too..."

Those Times with You ― Na Jaemin
ФанфикHigh school. The time where you learn, mature and enjoy the recklessness of being a youth. And those were the times where they spent it together. Colours of youth, splashing into their spirits.
