Jaemin let out yet another yawn as he continued to look at Akari, who was sitting opposite of her, busy studying as ever. The silence had made him slowly drift into drowsiness and it wouldn't be long before he falls asleep with the small stack of books as his pillow.

"If you intend to sleep, you should have just went home," Akari whispered, her eyes not moving away from her work and hands still diligently writing down notes.

"You know that wouldn't be an option," Jaemin replied and as soon as that, he let out a long yawn. So long that his eyes started to water a bit.

"An option is for you to read. Go find something that interests you," Akari suggested, still focused on making her notes.

He hummed in agreement and slowly stood up from his seat. His eyes gazed over the book titles but nothing stood out to him. Wandering from rack to rack, he didn't realize how he had arrived at the children's section.

After standing still for maybe a minute or two and skimming through the story titles, an idea passed through his mind. And so, Jaemin returned to their table with a bright smile.

The moment he made himself comfortable in his seat, he pretended to pick up a book and began reading the invisible story he held.

"Once upon a time, there lived a very eccentric maiden, who would always order coffee but gave it to someone else. And she did it all too often that the person who always received the coffee began to love drinking so much coffee in a day," Jaemin paused and looked up to see if he managed to capture Akari's attention or not.

"Your fairytale is false," Akari pouted slightly before putting down her pen. Taking away the invisible book Jaemin was holding, Akari began reading it as what she sees it to be.

"Once upon a time, there was a boy who loved coffee so much. So, so, so much that whenever he goes out for coffee with his girl, she would end up only drinking a bit of her coffee and gave the rest to the boy," Akari stopped and closed the invisible book.

"The end," she looked straight at him, her face expressionless and eyes narrowed.

Jaemin let out a laugh at her antics and it catches her because she started to laugh as well.

As their laughter faded away, Akari gently smiled and spoke, "How about we tell of the fairytale of a boy named J and a girl named A, who went out on a quest to add bright memories onto their empty, vast night sky of life."
