Joyful tears filled your eyes as many guards allowed you out of your chair and escorted you out of the building, through the rain, to Ms. Kayama's car. You thanked her profusely.

"Ms. Kayama, why did you help me back there? I may not have killed anyone, but I've hurt so many people. I'm no hero." You told her, to break the silence as she drove down the road.

She stayed quiet, parked her car, and invited you out. "Come walk with me."

You stepped out into the rain as Ms. Kayama started walking to a sign that said "South Park Trail." She guided you along, silent as you came to a wide stream.

"Do you want to know why I helped you?" She asked.

"Yes," you replied.

"I helped you because you were used. Manipulated. Your mother and I were very close friends as children, and I knew she would've wanted you to be safe with friends or . . . closely linked people." Ms. Kayama explained. She glanced downstream. "You know, your brother would be very proud of you."

"Thank you. But I don't see how that makes me a hero. I belong in a garbage can." You said.

"No, you don't. I watched your fights with heroes on television. Remember the one with Mt. Lady? When she asked why you haven't killed any heroes? She mentioned to me that you told her, 'I don't want to.' That proves that you're a valuable and amazing person."

You felt more tears. She enveloped you in a hug. Very quietly, you asked: "Can I call you Auntie Nemuri?"

She pet your hair. "Yes, dear, you may."

(Insert smooth transition to the next day here. I may try to make my writing not like this, but I am trying to avoid any more 200 word chapters.)

You rubbed your eyes, hopping out of bed and dressing in your uniform as quickly as you could. Finally, after all this waiting, you got to attend U.A. and become a hero.

As you got to the kitchen, you were greeted by Nemuri. "Rise and shine, Y/N! I was wondering when you'd get up." She flipped a pancake.

You ate your breakfast and thanked Nemuri politely, then packed your backpack. Nemuri hugged you proudly, before she drove you to the train station and shooed you off to your first day of class.

"I love you Aunt Nemuri! I'll visit you soon, I promise!" You shouted as you walked away. "Or maybe I will see you around school!"

She smiled and drove away, likely going to her own workplace. You walked into the empty school, assuming that everyone was in class at that point. Suddenly, a small animal appeared around a corner. You leapt back.

He didn't seem to be phased by your leaping. "Hello! You must be young Ōtā who will be attending U.A. as one of many students. I am Principal Nezu, but you may call me Nezu. Come, I will take you to your classroom."

You smiled awkwardly before walking behind him, where he lead you to an impossibly large and tall door with "1-A" printed onto it in large font. Your jaw almost dropped to the floor. This is a bit excessive.

"Go on. Knock. The teacher will allow you in and you'll be able to introduce yourself accordingly." He said, then walked off.

You did as Nezu told: knocking loudly to grab the attention of the class and the door opened, just as Nezu said it would. The man who opened the door was the same man who interrogated you at the prison.

He sighed heavily. "Come in."

You felt many pairs of eyes watching you as you walked in, their gazes burning judgmentally into your skin like hungry flames in hell. Whispers swept through the room like a breeze in a field full of sawgrass, cutting through your body with ease. It was awful.

"Isn't she that villain girl that we saved in the night of the training camp?"

"I thought I saw her on T.V. a few months ago. Wasn't she with that League of Villains?"

"Why are they letting her train at U.A.? In the hero course?"

"I wonder what quirk she has."

"She's kinda hot."

"Shut up Mineta." A slapping sound.

"Why me?"

"Class, we have a new student here. She was originally going to join us sooner but issues put her availability on hold." He said. Then he turned to you.

"I'm going to take a nap. Feel free to introduce yourself or whatever. When you're done, sit in between Ashido and Asui."

He then flopped onto the floor, hid under his desk, and snored.

You smiled awkwardly. "Hello everyone, my name is Ōtā Y/N. Nice to meet you." As you looked around the room, you saw many people you saw in the entrance exam. And you saw the green-haired boy. He was staring at you in complete awe, as if you were a statue at a museum.

The whole class changed, "Hello Ōtā Y/N," like it was rehearsed.

"Who are Ashido and Asui?" You asked.

A girl with pink skin, hair, raccoon-like eyes and pale horns jumped out of her seat with a loud cheer. "Cool! I get to sit next with the new girl!"

"We're over here." A girl with distinctly frog-like features said, waving you over. You realized that it was the cute girl you had helped during the entrance exam and the training camp. "Also, call me Tsu."

"Okay," you replied, obediently sitting in between the two girls. After a few, awkward moments completely full of silence, the whole class swarmed your desk, asking questions, introducing themselves, everything the class does to new kids, they did. You did your best to answer them, but there was one question that silenced everybody.

"Weren't you a villain before?"

You bit your lip. A weight on your chest. A twist in your stomach. A noise, sounding like a smack, broke the silence.

"That was insensitive. Everyone, back up." It was Tsu, scolding the short boy with purple hair.

"Yes."

You said quietly. Everyone stopped and looked at you, startled.

"I was."
