The Journey

She woke up abruptly because she knew that something was.... She stared.

This was definitely not where she had slept.

She blinked. Memories... events... they seemed to be slipping away. She could not remember.

She was suddenly afraid and gasping for breath and that was when she saw the faint light and she heard the voice.

The friendly voice.

"Child, your new journey begins. Walk through the path."

"Path? Where am I?"

"Too many questions. Far too little time. As always. But don't worry, the point of the journey is to answer your questions. Go through. Your destiny awaits."
