Chapter 15: Never Mine

Act 5: The Final Act

"D-Drew?" A voice called. The magic spell cast on the moment was broken. The two grew flustered and let go of each other, both of their faces burning red.

"W-What are y-you d-doing?" The girl stuttered, her green eyes starting to water as tears began to stream down her face. "D-Do you not l-like me?"

"Brianna, what do you mean?" Drew asked, confused.

"You didn't realize? This-this whole time?" Brianna asked in disbelief.

"Realize what?" Drew asked nervously.

"How I felt about you?" She revealed. Drew's face was shocked as he took in the confession.

"I love you Drew! You're supposed to be mine!" She exclaimed in hysterics, tears pouring down her face. She started stumbling towards him, her arms outstretched, trying to reach him.

"mine.." She whispered, taking a step.

"Mine.." her voice growing louder. Another step.

"MiNe.." Drew started to move backwards, away from her. Tears were less frequent, but were still sliding down her face.

"MiNE..." She said, taking yet another step towards him.

"MINE!" She exclaimed. Drew wore a fearful expression on her face. It was like she was possessed! Drew grabbed May's hand. Brianna say, and stifled a gasp.

"YOU WERE MIIIIIIINE!" She screamed angrily, falling to her knees, tears falling like a waterfall.

"YOU JERK! YOU STUPID, STUPID JERK!! WHY HER? WHY HER OVER ME!!?" Brianna raged, slamming her fists into the ground. At this point, everyone was staring at the three of them. Suddenly, Brianna stood up and ran outside leaving a shocked May and Drew, and entire food court.

"I, better go," May said, giving Drew an encouraging smile, as she walked outside. She barely made it a few steps away from the doors before a red haired man grabbed her arm and pulled her a long.

"Don't make a sound. You'll come with me if you want who you have left to live," he said briskly as they rushed along.

Drew was on his way home in his car when his phone began to ring. He debated picking it up, but he did.

"Where's May?" Was the first sentence he heard out of Leaf.

"What?" Drew asked, bewildered. "She's not with you?"

"No! She's not! That's why I'm calling you!" Leaf exclaimed through the phone as Drew pulled into his driveway.

"The last time I saw her was when she was leaving because her ride was there," Drew said worriedly, his heart rate increasing.

"She never came! We waited 30 minutes and she never came!"

"Did she know where you were?" Drew asked.

"She never texted asking! In fact, I've been texting her, and she hasn't responded at all!" Leaf panicked. Drew's stomach dropped.

"I'll let you know if I find something," Drew said.

"Alright, bye," Leaf said, hanging up. As Drew stepped inside his apartment he felt his phone vibrate. It was a text from May. Or from her phone at least.

We have her here.

The text included a location. A cave barely off the coast of Lilycove. He could get there easily. He left everything and ran to the shore which was a few miles away. He was about swim his way to the cave, when two men approached. They were fully decked out in a red suit, with a black M on their chests.

"What do you need?" Drew asked. One whipped out a pokeball, releasing a numel.

"Numel! Use Yawn!" He called.

"What?" Drew exclaimed as the waves of the move came over him.

"Hey!" He said weakly as the two men grabbed his arms and he slumped forward in to darkness.

Hehehe welp, hoped you guys liked this chapter. I finished this the day I'm posting chapter 13, so yeah! I won't do a long AN this time, but I think there is most definitely going to be a chapter 17 and possibly a slim chance of an 18. Then Defying Fate will be over.

I'm honestly really excited, but it's really bittersweet as well. I might go over and edit things, but that's not a guarantee because I'm hecka lazy. Anyways, love ya!
