Drums were beating in an upbeat manner as four of the five tribes of Wakanda: the Border Tribe, the River tribe, the Merchant Tribe and the Mining Tribe were all on their boats singing and dancing as they row down the river.

Everyone has smiles on their faces for a joyous occasion. Today was the day Prince T'Challa will be crowned King of Wakanda.

Queen Ramonda smiled fondly as she watched Shuri and Gemma danced on their boat. The childhood friends were in sync with their every move.

Gemma was born with fair skin and dark brown hair, born as an outsider, a foreigner but she grew up living in Wakanda. She knew as much as any Wakandans do. The history, the language, the culture. T'Challa taught her everything and she learned all of it by heart.

The Dora Milaje yelled loudly in Xhosa and tapped their Sonic Spears on the floor of their boat as the platform below the river surfaced, making multiple waterfalls and a flat surface so all the Wakandans could stand and watch the ceremony.

The tribes sang and danced as they wait for T'Challa to arrive. A smiling Gemma stood beside Shuri and Queen Ramonda with Ayo as she sang along with the other Wakandans.

The Royal Talon Flyer swiftly descended down from the sky and T'Challa walked out. He looked up at everyone as they continued singing and dancing. His eyes met Gemma's and couldn't help but smile at her with how beautiful she looked in her ceremonial outfit. She was only wearing a simple, not so extravagant white dress that fitted her quite nicely, yet to him, she was the most beautiful woman.

Gemma saw T'Challa's eyes filled with determination but his smile was full of love. He was looking at her as if she was the most beautiful woman in his eyes and she couldn't help but feel shy.

Shuri quirk an eyebrow at her older brother before glancing at her childhood friend beside her and smiled teasingly when she noticed the two staring lovingly at each other. She wished the two could be together already. It was pretty obvious they love each other. However, Gemma built a wall around her to protect herself and, T'Challa only has to break through it but instead he stayed at the other side.

"I, Zuri, son of Badu, give to you, Prince T'Challa, the Black Panther!"

Everyone cheered as T'Challa drew his sword from its sheath and crossed his arms before kneeling down. The Wakandans did a quick salute by crossing their arms in front of their chest with their right arm over their left.

Zuri held a small bowl in his hand and held it for everyone to see. "The prince will now have the strength of the Black Panther stripped away." he said loudly and walked over to T'Challa.
