Chapter 2

Zane's POV:
We were in class mixing potions and writing notes, our Teacher gave us a project to make a potion of our choice, me and Travis chose a invisibility potion. I was reading the instructions while Travis mixed things together, "can you hand me that potion bottle Zane? I think its done" Travis spoke up, I nodded and handed him the potion bottle, he carefully poured the potion in the bottle and put the cap on it, we handed it in to the teacher and he let us have a short break, so we went for a walk. Travis grabbed my arm and dragged me to the back of the building, I was hoping for a kiss or something, but nope- "Zane I need to talk to you about my crush.." he said while looking around making sure no one was here, he has a crush...fucking hell...Im to late..."well um..who is it?.." He looks up at me blushing "Dante~ he is so hot~ you know the captain of the football team!~ his abs are so hot!~ he is so hot!~ he is just my type!~" he fangirls and blushes more. WTF- he has never acted like this before!- "well he's an asshole. You should stay away from him." I started getting really jealous, I can't stand Travis liking someone that will hurt him, "well I like him! He is perfect~ he is the most amazing person in the world~" he sighed and blushed more "oh..." is all I could say, my heart shattered into pieces, everything was over, Ive loved Travis since middle school and he loves someone else..."Zane? Are you ok—" I just ran...I had nothing else to say...I was hurt and for some reason I could feel that he knew I was upset...

He never came after me...

-weeks later-

Zane's POV:
Ive been staying home and getting my brother to give me my missed work and take it back when I was done, I couldn't talk to Travis....its been a week and Im still hurt...he has been texting and calling none stop...and this was the last straw...when he called again I answered "ZANEY OMG!..." he was...crying?! Why is he crying!? "Travis whats the matter?!" I was so worried, Travis never cries unless something really bad happens "he ditched me!..." he cried out "...where are you." Travis had told Dante how he felt and he asked him to go to the movies with him today, but Dante is an asshole and doesn't care about others. "T-t-the movies..." he was crying more at this point, I kept him on call as I got dressed and to my moms car, I can't really drive but Im going to get Travis. Once I got there I grabbed him and held him close, he cried on my chest and I rubbed his back and whispered sweet things to him, it took a while but soon he calmed down, I took him to my place for the night, I called his dad and told him why Travis was staying with me for the weekend, he was cool with it so we had no worries. Travis laid on my chest trying to calm himself down, his heart was beating really fast, it worried me, Travis has never been heart broken before...he has never really liked anyone before..."why does everyone hate me..." he whispered into my chest "what are you talking about? No one hates you Travis...Dante is just an asshole..." I rubbed his back, he stayed quiet for a bit "I love you ya know..." I said out loud, I covered my mouth and started to panic, I looked down at him but, he was asleep, I sighed to myself and held him close
