The silence was broken as a simple word passed around the air, causing Yoongi to look up from his phone
"Got any food?"
Yoongi started to nod but stopped, knowing that Jimin would find out for himself anyways
"No, go home"
Frowning, Jimin stood up and made his way towards the kitchen to look for food before coming back out with a bowl of soup in his hands
And like always, his predictions seemed to be correct
"This is really tasty, Yoongi"
"Yeah I know, I made it after all"
"Well, you definatly do better than Namjoon" Jimin shrugged, taking another spoonful of the heartwarming soup
"I'm telling him you said that"
"He's not going to care, might punish me but"
"You guys are so gross"
Yoongi threw a pillow towards Jimin which he managed to duck, laughing as he placed down the now empty bowl of soup
"So, how did last nights event go?"
Yoongi looked away, fidgeting with a piece of loose string attached his sweater before speaking
"They said my stories were too depressing"
"Yikes"
"Yeah"
There was silence between them before Jimin decided to speak again, clearing his throat to get rid of the tension
"Well, forget them, I actually like your stories. you don't need a medal to tell you what an amazing writer you are, love"
"I know but some confirmation helps..I worked so hard on it"
"Then work harder"
"That's all I've been doing...''
Yoongi clasped his hands, trying hard to blink back tears, never wanting to show any emotions, especially saddening ones, he believed no one really cared how you felt, no matter their status in your life
"well, I guess I'll be taking my leave then"
Yoongi nodded and followed Jimin towards the door, still feeling hurt by what he'd said
