Charlie and I got up early in the morning and got ready for the day.

As we walk down the streets Charlie and I noticed people crowding around something. We decided to see what was happening, we walked closer, and Charlie and I had to squeeze past people to be able to see what they were looking it. It was a poster on the telephone poles. It read:

Dear people of the world, I Willy Wonka, have decided to allow five special people to visit my factory this year

Dear people of the world, I Willy Wonka, have decided to allow five special people to visit my factory this year. In addition, one of these people will receive a special prize beyond what anyone could ever imagine

Later on during the day, a news reporter stood in front of the factory gates announcing:
"Five golden tickets have been hidden inside five Wonka candy bars. These five candy bars may be anywhere- in any shop, in any street, in any town, in any country in the world".

I was shocked to hear this, this was gonna be the biggest thing in the year, maybe even history. I got home early because the shop ended up selling out candy bars and other stock so I was sent home.

"I know, but I only get one once a year, for my birthday," Charlie said happily,
They were talking about the ticket thing, I placed my bag down on the chair.
"Well it's your birthday next week," mum said
"You have as much chance as anybody does" grandma Josephina encouraged.

"Balderdash! The kids who are going to find the Golden Tickets are the ones who can afford to buy a hundred candy bars a day. Our Charlie gets only one a year, he doesn't stand a chance" grandpa George said angrily and a bit annoyed.

I placed my hand on Charlie's shoulder-rubbing soothing circles, "everyone has a chance, Charlie" I told him.

"Mark my words, Charlie. The kid who finds the first golden ticket will be fat, fat, fat" grandpa George stated

I laughed "actually I can see that coming, I'm with grandpa George on this"

A few days later I came home late from babysitting and saw on the television that there was a large boy eating a chocolate candy bar, yet he was holding two more in his hand and his entire mouth was covered in chocolate, well ain't that pleasant.
