Johnny's pov

We drove to a park as it seemed very peaceful.
Mackenzie and I decided to walk around for a bit. They were very few people walking through as it was 1 am lol. We could hear some animal noises and it was really soothing. It was dark outside and the only light was from some light stands by the path way.

During our walk I took Kenzies hand in mine and she intertwined our fingers.
Thank god! because I was debating on whether or not I should do it.

We later went to the playground in the park and just fooled around.
It was really fun.
We went on the swings and I pushed Kenzie so high up she almost fell. It was so funny, she wanted to kill me.
We did all the childish stuff and just enjoyed life.

I've never had that kind of fun with anyone else lately and I never really got the chance to.

As we got tired we decided to just sit on the swings and talk. It wasn't just small talk, it was a really deep conversation. It lasted a long time and we just were as honest as we could with each other and talked about our passions and opinions.

While looking at her in the mid dark, with the air blowing her hair gently and her face relaxed, but happy I could see how pretty she was.
I admired her freckles and her face expressions. You don't even want me to talk about her smile, it would last hours. Her smile is something else.

"Johnny" I got distracted by my thoughts
"Sorry I zoned out" I explained myself feeling embarrassed.

What if she could read my thoughts. Oh my god! That would suck hard. Johnny stop, she can't, that's bullshit. Okay. Im stopping

"Hah it's fine" Kenzie smiled
"Let's go sit on the bench" I said and stood up.
I pushed her off her swing and we walked to the bench.

When we sat, I couldn't take it anymore, I couldn't wait. So I did what I desired, I kissed her again. It was such a passionate kiss, it was like I could feel her heart on mine and all our emotions and feelings mixed up together.

The night was getting late and we both had to go back home. We left the park and I drove her back to her house.

I walked her to her porch and wished her goodnight. I leaned in to kiss her but suddenly the door opened.

"Kenzie" the person said
"It's so late, you're so past your curfew" she says angrily
"I'm sorry mom" Kenzie mumbles
That's when her mom sees me "oh hi little man" she says. Little man??hm ok
"Hello miss Ziegler" I say with politeness
"It's actually Gisoni" she corrects me
"Omg I'm sorry I forgot" I apologise getting nervous.
"It's fine hunny" she says sweetly, wOw mood changes.
"So kenzie why you were out so late with him"
"I'm sorry mom, I was at a friends place and we lost track of time" she explains herself
"Oh it's okay, you don't do that a lot so I'll let you slip off this time" she says sweetly. She has such a kind mother aw.

"So what's your name?" She asks me turning around
"Oh I'm Johnny" I say and offer my hand to shake.
"Nice to meet you Johnny, don't ever get her back this late do you understand?" She says seriously
"Yes ma'am" I say politely

"I better go" I say when I check the time
"It's very late, I don't think it's a good idea to drive alone at this time" her mom says concerned
"It's fine I'm an experienced driver" I say and Kenzie scoffs. That girl.
"You should stay the night" her mom says
"It's fine don't worry" I say
"I insist" Ms Melissa says
"Are you sure" I ask

Well in the end I couldn't say no so they let me in. I had to text my mom to tell her I'm going to sleep at Kenzie's house.

They prepared me to sleep at the couch in Kenzie's room. I would sleep in the same bedroom as her. That felt weird...

We both got ready for bed, well my clothes weren't that comfortable so kenzie gave me some sweatpants of her stepdad.

She went inside the bathroom while I changed in her room. I took off my pants and put on the sweatpants, I was debating on whether or not I should take off my shirt. I sleep shirtless because I get really hot.

Kenzie suddenly opens the bathroom door as she has finished getting ready. Her face immediately forms a shook expression and then she just tries to shake it off. She was probably looking at my abs ;)

"Are you ready?" She asks
"Yeah, I hope you don't mind me sleeping shirtless. I just get hot during the night" I say
"Yeah it's fine" she says but I can see her blushing slightly heh.

We get into our beds, well my couch but whatever and just get comfortable.

"Do you even fit in there" she asks
"Eh not really" I say trying not to sound rude
"Do you wanna change beds" she asks worried and stands up
"No no it's fine, it's your bed" I say emphasising on the your
"But you're my guest" she replies

"Don't worry I'm comfortable" I say
"No you're not, you're lying" she says placing her hands on the sides of her waist
"What no I am not! Look" I say taking a sleeping position
"Johnny, come on you're taller than me and you don't fit there I know." She keeps insisting
"Kenz, it's fine" I say calmly
"No it's not, you might not be able to sleep there" she says
"No no don't worry this couch is everything I've been dreaming of" I kinda joke
"John come on just give up"
"Nope" I say popping the p

"Ughhh" She says and sits on her bed
I just stare at her
Suddenly kenzie says "um do you maybe, um want to sleep in my bed" she asks slowly
"I already said no kenzie" I reply sharply
"I mean like, with me" Kenzie says looking at me
"Oh" I say shocked "are you sure?" I ask
"Yeah I mean it's a big bed" she laughs
"Okay then" I say and stand up

We both get in bed. "Is this better" she asks me
"Yeah" I nod while facing her.
We just stared into each other's eyes for some time and then kenzie just turned around.
"Goodnight" She says
"Sweet dreams" I whisper sweetly

I could find a position to sleep and I kept turning around. Kenzie was probably annoyed of me moving all the time.
"Can't sleep" she asks
"Not really" I say and chuckle

Then my brain suddenly thinks of a better sleeping position. I move closer to her and wrap my arm around her. Now this is much more comfortable
"Much better" I whisper
Even though I couldn't see her face, I knew a smile had formed by her lips.
