Kenzie's pov
I am so confused. My brain has frozen and I suddenly feel dizzy, I hold on the back of a chair ro steady myself.
"I-I know him" I stutter
"yeah right" maisy says sarcastically
"I do. He was here some days ago" I sit down at my dressing table, my mind going wild
"seriously?" maisy aks looking really impressed
"Look at the picture right there" I say pointing at the photo of Johnny and I
"Wow that's so cool" Maisy's now looking me wide eyed, like I just met Shawn Mendes or something.
"are you sure it's him" I ask. Maisy gets up and studies the picture. "Yeah definitely. He has the same hair style and eye colour and I've seen a post of him wearing that exact same t-shirt" She turns and stares at me. "Why are you asking that? You must know it's Johnny Orlando if you met him"
"Yes..I" then I suddenly realise that he never told me his last name
"I am not feeling too good" I say sitting down on my bed
"okay then, lets just watch a movie and chill" Maisy says excitedly
During the movie I just zoned out and didn't pay attention to it at all. All I could think about was Johnny. Was he famous? Why didn't he tell me? I mean I knew he had an incredible voice but how can he be a famous singer? These thoughts just kept going in my brain.
As soon as Maisy is gone, I go straight over to my laptop, go onto Google and type : Johnny Orlando and all I can think about is whether its just a misunderstanding
"Oh my" I say when I see loads of results showing up and his cute face under "images"
I click on the first link, the headline reads Universal Music Sign Interent Sensation Johnny Orlando underneath theres a picture of Johnny singing a paper probably a music contract. I overcome with shock and disbelief. Apparently some years ago Johnny started posting videos of him singing on Youtube. Now he has over a million subscribers to his channel. Then a couple of months ago Universal, the record label signed him.
I feel a bust of proudness when I read a quote from an executive at the label talking about Johnny's "incredible musical talent".
Afterwards I went back and looked over tons of other articles. I saw some of him and some girl called 'Nadia Turner'. He had told me about 'Nadia' but I didn't know she was that pretty. Why does he prefer me over her?
One of the website has his instagram account linked. So I press on it and the account @\johnnyorlando comes up. He has over 5 million followers on there.
I am an idiot.
Why am I just realising that @|josnnyortizwas just his spam. I am stupid.
I look up at the photo of him and my eyes fill with hot tears of anger and sadness. How could he have done this to me?
