An Untitled Poem of Truth

The clock ceases, a quarter 'till one,

All halt Earth's turn and the rising sun,

Now we sit frozen and silent,

Frozen in violence,

Frozen in all fears and no man can deny this,

World in which we live where we rob the kids,

If you plague their intellect, happily, they due your bids,

All the while chasing a dream that should be reality,

But you don't profit off freedom, you need adversity,

Yet we just wanna dance--that most natural trance,

I suppose it's why black kids are never given the chance,

"Oh get off the soapbox boy, you need to try harder,"

I do, twice as much, and yet you're still so much smarter,

So this here's what imma do,

Hear what I'm about to tell you,

"Because?"

Because this is the message that may just save the world,

Dig deep into the hearts and minds of every boy and girl,

To deliver us--a place like none other,

Where we look and look out for one another,

Where we're all sisters and brothers,

Of every father, every mother,

So heed now to the youth,

And their everlasting truth:

All powers of God reside inside--you.

Oh,

So true,

Not black and white but blue,

Like the sky, a space so vast and high,

Where souls live to dance once bodies die,

Now, do you comply?

Really? Still not convinced?

That's fine,

But brace now,

It's time for an exodus,

Deliverance to this place of vivid descriptiveness,

That knows no hindrance to our plight of excellence,

Only preferences of prevalence--commonness, common sense,

Yes the message is tense but it must be made present tense,

For we must dissent from these fears that torment,

Our hearts, our minds, our societies,

Or else consider your life not well spent,

And there's my two cents,

That came at no expense,

But a love for you, you and her,

Mother Earth, shared universe,

From the messenger of the future,

Found deep in a forest that is dense,

When you follow this love,

And scent of my burning frankincense.
