XV. Afraid To Get Burned

I just finished uploading all the videos I got of Thomas and Sabrina. I made sure that I uploaded all... I was getting too tired of this game. I needed everyone to know that nothing would remain the same. Not after what they did to Molly, no. There's no way in hell that I'd let them continue to live the way they did before.

I'd destroy every normal thing in their life until chaos was the only comfort they'd know.

"What happened?" I asked, feigning concern.

Nathan almost ran outside. Panic was painted all over his face. I knew it was about the video; it had to be about the video.

Nathan beat all the red lights. I almost feared for my life with how reckless he was driving. Gusto ko man siyang tanungin ay hindi ko magawa—not with that scowl on his face that seemed to be permanent.

After a few death-defying minutes, agad kaming nakarating sa condo.

"I'll see you later," he said.

"Why—"

"I'll explain later," he said, cutting me off.

I pressed my lips. Fuck. I immediately hailed a cab and followed him.

"Fuck," I uttered to myself when I saw that they were all there.

I whipped my phone out, capturing everything. Harvey looked enraged. Even from the distance, I could see how red his face was. And Thomas? Thomas looked pissed. But served him right. He's an asshole. He deserved every inch of this.

"Don't mind me. Look away," I told the cab driver as I handed him a few thousand bills. I knew this would buy his silence.

Kill me if he wasn't enjoying this.

I was too engrossed with the scene that was unfolding before me.

Holy fuck. Why was she here?!

I was holding on to the edge of my seat. A part of me was begging me to get out... to get a little closer... to know what the hell was going on.

But I couldn't.

I knew I should stay.

I needed patience. That's all I got.
