"you'll feel better when you wake up." those are the words that i repeat to myself before i sleep because i know it's true.
i woke up around the time i always wake up. the sun was already making its way to my room so i stood up and allowed it in by opening the curtains.
"good morning." a voice greeted me.
i turned my gaze away from the blue sky to the girl peeking at my door.
"breakfast is ready." she continued before closing the door. i stand in the same spot... confused.
why is she here?
"i made kimchi fried rice!" she exclaimed when i made my way to the dining area. i sat down on the other side of the table and started to eat. everything seemed so normal.
the atmosphere wasn't heavy, it wasn't awkward. we even made small talks...
what's happening?
i'd be lying if i say i don't miss this, that i don't miss her but...
