Today is the day. The day everyone has waited for. It's Hinata's first ever practice match! It's been 5 days since the Karasuno Volleyball Team went to training camp and today they were playing against Nekoma High.

When Kageyama opened his eyes that morning he say Hinata lay beside him watching the sealing. It looked like he had been doing that all night by the way his face looked. Hinata's been extra annoying lately. Kageyama thought of Hinata's week. First he couldn't sleep because of his stupidly overwhelming excitement, then he wined for the rest of the days because of him being too impatient and now he looked like all the sunlight has been drawn out of him.
Kageyama watched him until Hinata turned his head and they made eye contact. Kageyama felt embarrassed that he starred at him for so long without noticing it so he panicked and shoved his pillow right in Hinata's face.

On the bus Hinata continued being practically lifeless, and no one noticed thankfully. He didn't want the others to take pity on him for being nervous.
When they stopped at the gym they've been practicing at this week Hinata could feel his stomach waring him to get to the toilet as soon as possible. He jumped off as fast as he could sprinting torwards the boy's bathroom.
The spiker didn't realize until thursday afternoon that they were playing a match, a real match. It was against another team from another school that came here to play against them. They came here all the way from Tokyo for god's sake. He panicked. May thoughts were flowing trough his mind like a hurricane. He haven't played in a single match before! He barley knew the rules! And the thing that disturbed him the most was, Hinata didn't want to let the team down because of his unexperience with matches.

When he came back to the training area Hinata saw the Nekoma team unpack their stuff. They were really big. Like, intimidating big. The small spiker shivered, I bet they're really strong too. He sat next to Nishinoya on the floor, being beside another small person after watching the other team's big mountains made him feel at least a little better. But he couldn't stop his nervousness though.

"Oi Shouyou where were you? You just ran off!" Noya said putting his arm around Hinata's neck. He really wanted Noya to stop hugging him like that or else he would trow up again. Most preferably, he would like to stay in that bathroom stall for the sake of not throwing up anywhere else that the toilet.

"...Ah sorry, I just needed to go to the bathroom-" He quickly covered his mouth. He felt nauseous again. Oh no. He got up right when coach Ukai was about to hold his speech.

"HEY WHERE ARE YOU GOING NOW!?" Nishinoya screamed after him.

"BATHROOM AGAIN!" He tried to yell back without upsetting his stomach too much. Hinata opened the door quickly. He ran past a tall boy still covering his mouth and over to, from now on, his own stall.

*rainbow puke~*

The boy knock on the door to the stall.
"Oi dumbass we're starting now."

Hinata looked back at the door and realized it was unlocked, but he didn't have the willpower to go lock it so he accepted his fate.

The door went up slowly. Kageyama stood there in shock, he had never seen Hinata so vulnerable. They looked at eachother until Hinata opened his mouth.

"Bakayama... you're suposed to get a wet towel..." Kageyama flinched and realized that he needed to get a cold and wet towel to put on Hinata's head and when he came back he placed it gently on his pale skin.

"You look horrible."

"Gee, thanks I do feel horrible." He said while straightening his sloppy sitting posistion. After a while of silence Kageyama took the towel to refresh it once more.

"You know, you could've told us that you weren't feeling good." He said while placing the towel under the sink.

Kageyama didn't get a response, he tried again.
"Hinata yo-" he swollowed and continued.

"-your our greatest decoy, if anything happens to you don't you think we'll not care? We need you on the court dumbass."

"I didn't want you guys to take pity on me because..."

"Because..?"

"...I've never played in an offical match before..." he mumbled so quiet it was hard to hear.
"...And I thought I could handle my nervousness but no..."

"What? I can't hear what you're saying if you keep having a conversation with yourself idiot."

"I SAID I'M REALLY NERVOUS!-" He was silenced by the nice cold of the refreshed towel on his forehead. Kageyama bent down and looked at the weak boy. At such a close distance Kageyama could see the bags under his eyes and how pale he was. Though his orange curls where still as orange as ever. To sum it up, Hinata's bright orange curls and pale skin didn't match at all. He studied his face once more until he whispered something in Hinata's ear. He then immediately lit up like Kageyama had put on the lights again.

"Do you still feel nervous?" Kageyama smiled.

"Not at all!" Hinata smiled aswell, both of them with a determined face. They where ready to get into the game again!
