I was sitting in a holding cell with Taylor we were just shaking our head. So Maddie pressing charges like bitch you came to my house looking for me and she jumped me and charged at me. I guess when you get beat up you gotta do what you gotta do. I most definitely not going down as a scary bitch. Shit she said I was fucking August and I said on sight.

" COME THE FUCK ON CAN WE GO HOME ". Taylor say yelling at the guards.

" girl ". I say laughing.

" You think this funny ". The officer say.

" Yes you see me laughing right the fuck ". I said rolling my eyes.

" You people are a mess ". He said.

" You people meaning you black people don't do that your the ones a mess killing innocent people for nothing how are y'all supposed to protect us by killing us those people might have family depending on them and you kill them like fish and get away with it and get mad when we riot and protest for them we all are going to die but they don't deserve to die like that ". Taylor say.

The guard was quiet and walked away.

" Damn girl ". I say.

" I just hate people like that ". She said shaking my head.

The guard came back with a straight face.

" You mad bail ". He say opening the door.

We walked out and I saw August and Chris they looked bruised.

" What happened ". I asked asking over to August.

" Nothing but are y'all ok ". He asked.

" Yeah were good ". Taylor say.

" Tay you look good ". Chris say.

" I know now get me some food ". She say.

Imma take her to eat Aug I'll meet up with you later ". Chris say.

It was weird seeing August it's like he's been gone forever and now appearing.

" Ight be safe ".

They walked out leaving August and I.

" I'll get a Uber ". I say.

" No I'll take you ". He say.

" Sure ".

August POV

We got in the car and she was quiet and was looking out the window.

" You really had to attack her ". I asked.

" First off I didn't attack her she ran up on me so I beat that ass ". She said.

" Oh ".

" You missed me ". I say.

" No I know you do ". She said.

" One last time ". I said pulling the car over.

" August no ".

" Come on girl ". I said taking my seatbelt off.

I saw a smile appear on her face.

After August dropped me off I saw Ken. He was sitting on the porch.

" Are you ok I heard what happened ". He say.

" Yeah I'm fine ". I say.

We went in the house and I was tired.

" I'm just going to lay down ". I say going upstairs.
