"And, BOOM!" Junny said, smashing the stick onto the dirt. The drawing in the dirt was unreadable. "What is that.." Ansley asked. "Uh, clearly the plan." Junny retorted. "You idiot! That's not a plan! At least not readable!" Landon huffed. "Well can you blame me? I have a blind eye!" Junny stared. "Guys, stop arguing." Lee demanded. "Sorry." Junny and Landon responded. "This is serious. My brother is missing." Lee glared at them. "Listen here." Ansley said, climbing up a small tree, "We should split ourselves up into search parties. I'll, obviously, work in the trees. Landon should work with searching for paw-prints. He's got great eye sight. Junny and Yvonne should do day and night shifts together in the forest. And Lee writes notes." "Woah, woah, woah. I sit here and wait? He's my brother. If anything took him I should be there to protect him!" Lee shouted, wrinkling her snout. "Then you'll be the note writer and the monster hunter." Landon said.
"Monster? What are you, a three year old?" Junny snickered. "Well, I hear strange noises at an hour before midnight." Yvonne said quietly. "I heard you lost your brother." a voice said behind them. "Bryson?" Lee said, confused. "I could help look, if you want..." he asked, shyly. "Guys, could you give Bryson and I some privacy..." Lee told them, but it was more of a demand. They walked off. "What are you doing?" Lee asked Bryson, her gaze going cold. "I want to help find him..." he muttered. "How should I trust you? We've been neighbors for a week!" Lee glared at him more. "But... I thought we were friends..." Bryson's voice rang with sadness. "Um, no. We aren't. I only become friends with somebody if I know them for a long time." Lee retorted. "B-but..." "But, nothing. Get away!" Bryson slowly stepped back. "Lee, I can help find him." Bryson said, hope rising in his voice again. Lee's eyes filled with rage. She stepped forwards, her claws clicking along the tracks. Lee shoved Bryson off the hill the train tracks were set on. He fell back, his paw getting caught under the wooden plank. He yelped in pain, Lee dashing off. Bryson got up, nearly tripping. He lowered his ears, limping off.
"Who was that?" Landon asked. "Your boyfriend?" Ansley laughed. Lee shook her head, "Some weird guy." Junny gave a shrug. "Let's get supplies for the search." Ansley told her friends. "Got ya covered." Yvonne tossed a pair of binoculars, protein bars, a pocket knife, a notepad and pen, flashlight, bug spray, compass, a camera, matches, lighters, and all the batteries known to man. "Wow." Lee mumbled. "Yep. I've got it all." Yvonne smiled proudly. "You don't have Ghostbusters on DVD." Landon huffed. "I'm working on it." They all laughed, grabbing the supplies.
