she lived in a black monochrome world
her walls had faded grey like her eyes
everything was fading around her
since that day, she wouldn't see xxxxx
she didn't want to see it at all
because xxxxx made people happy
and she wasn't happy anymore
so nothing looked pretty in her mind
and apples, once xxx, were now dark grey
it didn't matter, though. it didn't
if the sky and the water weren't xxxx
she was fine with her monochrome view
they were now both different shades of grey
she didn't missed seeing the sunset
she always sat alone on her bed
trying hard to forget all the xxd
the xxx that had made her hate xxxxr
stained her mind at night with a picture
a car, pavement, a laughing couple
a red light, screeching, hands pushing her
silence, rxd and blux lights, grey asphalt
now xxd asphalt, it should have been her
regret, the light of her world faded
guilt, now xe's gone, all her cxlxr, gone
her only cxlxx pushed her away
so she pushed it back after that day
years and years became grey memories
that scene still haunted her in her dreams
nothing had helped, she tried everything
no matter what, rxx made her heart sting
then, one year, one month, one week, one day
her mind narrowed and widened great ways
xolor now demanded to be seen
all because of a little rxd ring
grass was grexn again, the sky was blue
no longer a black monochrome view
the grey in her eyes faded away
making way for a soft green to stay
her life changed for better or for worse
for better, her thoughts now had pictures
for worse, no more did she see that scene
for nightmares were gone, and now were dreams
no longer did she hide from color
this time, it stayed with her forever
