I heard Skye say, "Chase?" I turned around saw her and ran towards her. Then out of the shadows steps Blade, "Ghost it's been to long. Did you like my distraction? Also, babe why don't you tell him?" He says evilly. She nods and says, "Chase I'm with Blade now." She smiles and kissed Blade, I saw red, growled, and lunged for Blade's throat. Skye stepped in front of him and I stopped. I wouldn't hurt her, Blade smiles and says, "that's your weakness Ghost, you've never been able to finish and hurt anyone who needs to be." He then said, "Release," and I knew the mind control had been broken. Then he said, "I on the other hand can do what needs to be done." He then lunged for Skye's throat I was to late he bit her in the throat and she collapsed. I screamed, "NO!!!!! SKYE!!!!!" I forgot all about Blade as he slipped into the shadows I bandaged Skye while crying and I put her on my back and carefully and quickly ran back to the base all while saying, "Skye you'll be ok I promise. Just hang on babe..."
