"Tony!" Bruce ran into the room, stumbling a little
"Yes? What?" Tony spat irritably
He didn't mean to be rude, but right now he was wallowing in self pity and after cleaning up a little, trying to upgrade his suit so the thrusters didn't take up so much battery, and he didn't want to be disturbed
"You'll want to see this" Bruce said breathlessly
This caught Tony's attention, Bruce looked worried and you could see part of his skin becoming green a little
Wordlessly Tony followed Bruce at a fast pace out of the lab, down a corridor, left, up two flights of stairs ( why couldn't we have just taken the lift?) down another corridor and into the conference room
Tony wasn't expecting to walk in and be greeted by all the avengers but there they were Steve, Natasha, Clint, Wanda and Bucky
He nodded and took a seat
"Bruce, I don't mean to be rude but why are we here?" Steve asked adjusting himself in his seat and sitting forward
"I, Uh I found this" Bruce held up a beige file
"Ok?" Clint said in a confused tone
"I was digging around that old HYDRA file tony found last week that he thought just contained shipment information because the file was just labelled" he looked down the the file and read allowed "155632"
"Right" Natasha encouraged
"What's it about?" Steve asked in more of a serious voice
"Uh well, it's well - it's about-"
"Spit it out!" Tony yelled, cutting Bruce off
"It's about your sister"
Tony visibly stiffened
"Why? What happened to Tony's sister?" Steve asked
"It was while you were 'dead'" Wanda began
"HYDRA had her killed" Bucky finished, staring at the floor
"Oh my god, tony I'm- I'm so sorry" Steve said, looking sympathetically at Tony who was so closed off at the moment you could almost see the walls he was putting up
"What about her?" Natasha asked
"Well uh, there is good news and there is bad news" Bruce said
Tony looked up at Bruce with bleary eyes
"Well the good news is - and I don't want to get your hopes up but - I think, well maybe, she could still, Uh be alive?"
Tony stood up so suddenly his chair fell to the floor
"The bad?"
"HYDRA have her and" Bruce paused and Tony became more and more anxious "they're trying to turn her into a super soldier"
Tony's expression was unreadable, perhaps a mixture of guilt, sadness, anger and self loathing
"I'm- I'm sorry I have to go" Bruce said and he quickly ran out - no doubt to lock himself in the hulk's cell in case he hulk'd out
Tony picked up the file, it was quite weighty, clearly they had a lot on you
"Jarvis pull up the HYDRA file labelled 155632" he said as he began flicking though the paper copy of the file
The other avengers were at a loss of what to do, and so they sat and watched tony work, he looked frantic and Steve knew he probably wasn't quite registering it
"The file is up sir" Jarvis said and a hologram appeared with different sections
Tony read through them, then he said "go to videos" and a list of links replaced the previous hologram.

- torture/ beating//no break
- torture/electrify//no break
- mental manipulation//no break
- torture/brand//no break
- torture/ the chair// no break
- torture/whip//no break
- memory wipe// successful
They all looked relatively the same but as Tony scrolled down and down, and his heart sunk lower and lower his eyes caught on something right at the bottom of the list
- brothers death// unsuccessful
"Jarvis, go on this one" tony said and a video pulled up
"Let me go you sick son of a bitch!" You screamed as you were strapped to a chair
"You will show me some respect" a man said, through a thick German accent, that was just out of the camera shot
"Yeah fucking right! What do I have to respect you for!" You screamed
"You are lucky we have not yet wiped your memory" the man said "speaking of your memory's" he paused
"You remember your brother no? Anthony stark?"
A look of hatred and fear crossed your face "you lay a finger on my little brother and I will burn you to the ground you piece of vermin!"
"Ah, you see we do not have to" the man said "why, he is already dead"
Silence followed
"No" you breathed
"Ah but I am afraid to say that would be a yes"
"No! You're lying! Tony is not dead! I will see him again!" You screamed becoming hysterical
"Aw you poor little thing" he man said in mock sympathy
"No!" You screamed again as tears ran down your face
The man let out a laugh that was laced with a foul and sinister tone
"But we can get him back" the man said and you looked up "yes, HYDRA is more powerful than anything on this earth me dear, we can bring him back for you, you just need to do as we say"
A look of hope crossed your face
"Ah I see you have hope for him no?" The man said
"No" you said
"Ye- what? No?" The man said
"I know your lying you little worm, Tony is not dead, you jut want me to do as you say! Well let me tell you something you bastard, I will never do HYDRA's bidding! Not In a million years! And if you think I will break you are a fool!"
The man sighed
"So be it" he said "turn it to ten!" He yelled and your body became ridged and your screams of agony filled the room
"Stop it!" Bucky yelled
