Well, I'm like that and I'm a sole believer that nighttime thoughts, shower tangents, and dreams make bomb stories. Don't believe me? Anywho, today we talk about something bomb as fuck...
CROSSOVERS
I love crossovers. They're bomb. Cardiac Arrest is a crossover and there are so many video games that have crossovers that everyone is like "yas, B" that saying that they aren't popular and the bomb.com is absolutely preposterous. That's why the second prompt has to do with crossovers, but not just any crossovers, crossovers that no one would expect.
Cardiac Arrest was really fun to write because I absolutely love the Death Note manga series (I own the box set). It's an Ereri/Riren fic set in a world where the Death Note exists and Eren is Kira and Levi is L. So why don't more people do it? Is it just that they don't show up because apparently everyone likes omegaverse and teacher x student romances (don't @ me for my shade). There are so many story ideas for fanfics before everything starts to seem like an offbrand Organic Cigarettes. I'm sorry, but that's the truth. So this exercise is to practice thinking out the box. Just to be clear, there are a ton of great Ereri/Riren writers out there and I'm not saying all of the content out here is trash (some of the popular stuff is tho), but this boot camp is about Ereri and Riren and I'm not here to stroke egos when someone comes up with the plot of Organic Cigarettes but makes it a tiny bit different. We'll get into Ereri/Riren tropes a different day and how to not accidentally fall into it.
Prompt:
Write an Ereri/Riren one shot/two shot fic and have it set in one of these universes:
- Fullmetal Alchemist/Brotherhood
- MARVEL
- DC
- Noragami/Aragoto
- Black Butler (any of them)
- Soul Eater
- Bleach
- Naruto
- Comment what you want to do and I'll check it out. I just wanna be familiar with it so I can properly judge it.
Write it, use a catching cover with both fandoms, and make sure to tag me so I can see it. Use these tags:
