Desmond ' s point of view
Desmond! Desmond ! Wake up ,you will be late for school .
I hear someone yell.
I open my eyes and see Regina laying on my chest.
When she noticed am awake , she starts shouting ;
Good morning Desmond !
I smile at her and she smiles back .
She has a gorgeous smile. All I wish is for her not, to become like our mother.
"Arise and shine handsome. " Dennis suddenly says
I jump off the bed when Dennis makes that statement.
Regina starts crying
Ooops she is hurt ! Dennis said
I start the sign language ;
Regina why are you crying ? What happened? How did you get hurt.
She replies using sign language;
Remember I was laying on your chest .
I answer using sign language ;
Yh ! I remember ,you were on my chest minutes ago.
She replies using sign language;
You forgot I was still on your chest ,then you jumped off and I feel on the floor.
I respond using sign language ;
Oh so am the cause of your bruise . Am so sorry my princess. I hope you have forgiven me ?
Yeah I have forgiven you ! She said and starts smiling again
Then I kiss her right check.
She smiles widely this time.
Dennis clears his throat . I forgot he was still around.
Then I kiss his forehead and leave the room .
I run to the bathroom and take a quick shower.
Afterwards
I head back to the room and realize my little siblings aren't around.
Maybe they are dressing for school or maybe they're eating breakfast.
I go to my wardrobe and choose an outfit for today.
I wear a blue T - shirt ,blue jeans and a blue sneakers.
Oh and not to forget my regular black jacket.
I slum the door close after am done dressing.
Then go downstairs to check on my buddies.
My thoughts were right .
They are in the kitchen eating breakfast .
When they notice my arrival , they start eating fast.
Afterwards they take their bags and leave the kitchen.
Desmond ! Take your bag .Regina says as she walks to me.
"Thank you." I say using sign language
" Finally you brats are going to school . " our mother says as she ascends from the stairs.
" You brats are walking today. Whether you like it or not. " she informs us
" What ?? Why ? " Dennis questions
" The car is engaged ." she informs us
" What do you mean by the car is engaged ? " Regina questions
" I will be needing it . " she informs us
" But you have 6 cars . So - -" Dennis says but she cuts him.
" I will need all of them "
" We are late for school . We can't walk . " Regina complains
" I don't care . " she says flatly
" We will just send the motor ."
" It's also engaged ." she answers flatly
" Then give us money to take a bus or a train." Dennis said
" I don't have money .That's why I said walk." She said flatly
I know by that statement she made . My little siblings must be angry by now.
So I knelt down to their level ,kissed their checks twice and hugged them in a way that they will know that is okay.
We left the house not forgetting to slum the door close.
" I have a surprise for you guys . " I said using sign language.
I wanted to cheer them up but they just frowned .
I open my bag and removed my wallet.
Then I showed the money to them.
" What you have - " Regina yells but i cut her by putting my finger on my lip indicating silence.We are not far from the house. She may hear.
Regina starts understanding what I meant , so she changed her sentence .
" What! , you have a new watch ? "
" Let's go ! " Dennis says excitedly
" Call an Uber for us " I told Dennis using sign language .
" Okay ! Give me your phone. " He tells me.
I hand it to him.
After he called the Uber we walked to the pastry shop because they wanted to buy some snacks for Emergency.
Regina ordered for orange juice and meat pie and cup cakes .
Whiles
Dennis ordered for watermelon juice and cookies and meat pie.
I ordered for cocktail and meat pies .
The woman understands sign language so it was easy for me to communicate with her.
She told me that the juice will still be fresh by afternoon or evening. I was surprised so she told me that is her family's secret .
Afterwards ,our Uber arrived.
Before the Uber stopped at Regina and Dennis school. I gave them money for school and Emergency.
When the Uber finally stopped at their school .
They thanked me and got down .
My school is an hour drive so is gonna take awhile till I get there.
Dennis and Regina don't go to the same school but their schools are not far from each other .
