I got up to open the door and when I opened it
I saw those eyes
Those rare eyes . Those purple eyes
"Good morning Desmond !! What time did you come back ? " Christiana questions me
" At 12 am . " I said using sign language
Oh no she doesn't understand sign language .
" Wow ! Why did you come so late ? " Christiana questions me
Wait she understood me ? How come ???
" It was my new job , so ... You understand right " I said using sign language.
" Yeah understand. Are you surprised that I understand what you are saying ? " Christiana questions me
" Yeah ! " I said using sign language.
" While , I having been learning how to do & understand sign language online. I started yesterday . I want to understand you better , so that you don't need to feel uncomfortable around me . I hope am doing well . "
" Yeah you are doing great. What did you start learning ? " I question her using sign language
Then I opened the door wide for her to coming .
" I started learning the basics like How are you ? Where did you go ? What time did you come ? and many more . I also learnt their responses . " Christiana tells me as she enters
While am glad she is learning sign language . Now she will understand me better and I don't need to feel uncomfortable when she questions me or starts a conversation.
" Tiana !!! " Regina yells when Christiana comes in
" How are you ? " Christiana questions Regina
" Am fine ! " Regina answers
" Where is Dennis ? " Christiana questions Regina and I
" He went to the kitchen to get some fruits . Thanks for yesterday ." Regina thankfully say
" It's my pleasure . " Christiana said
" I want us to go for a picnic . Do you agree ? " Christiana questions us
" What's a picnic ? " Regina questions her
" Desmond , do you know what a picnic is ? " Christiana questions me
" No . " I said using sign language.
" Okay . Is a time where family and friends eat and chat as they enjoy the atmosphere . I hope you understand it ? Regina." Christiana explains
" I understand " Regina said
" So will you guys go for the picnic ? " Christiana questions us
" Sure we will . " Regina agrees
" My mum will be there . " Christiana informs us
" No problem . " I said using sign language
" But we will arrive before her . We must be there at 10: 00 am . She will arrive at 1 : 00 pm ."
Christiana informs us
" Okay that's good. " I said using sign language
" Am going to the kitchen to check on Dennis. He has kept long there. " Regina said and leaves .
" Go and change. " Christiana tells me
" Do you need help with that ? " Christiana questions me
" Yeah I don't know what outfit to wear. Can you help me choose a perfect outfit ? " I question her
" Sure. " Christiana answers.
